it's a nice build idea, but you are better off running heavy guns if you aren't using VATS and in power armor in my personal opinion, however it still works fairly well especially with weapons like the plasma rifle with a flamer barrel, if you roll vampire's on it, you are golden

not everyone wants to run heavy guns. Some of us just want to run PA and rifles.

I have a run n gun PA using the assault rifle. Yes, compared to a full on commando or any other auto rifle, it takes quite a bit to kill stuff. But for me, it's a lot of fun

I have a PA Commando with a Quad explosive railway. I use VATS and crits but opted for Taking One For The Team. Great fun and really tanky.

I've been thinking of similar, because I'm also using a quad explosive railway rifle and a quad tesla for horde events, so stealth is basically never happening, so I might as well spec into power armour 🤣

Love it. I always wore my regular armour mis-matched...and all painted different colours. I just can't wear clean and perfect outfits in a game like this. Also, this is the first time since finding your channel, I've seen you use PA...and I've went back at least a year of videos. 😂 👍

Cool, and early game, I can understand just scrounging up what you can. I do PA run and gun like that on my alt at lvl 30-something, but with full set of Union and a decent railway rifle. But at lvl 96, to not at least have a full set of Excavator or the X01 or another matching set? And to not do ammo farming in expeditions or DailyOps? Idk. Also, really, heavy guns are still the best choice for PA. But I guess it's fun to go totally anti-optimal sometimes too, LOL!

Do the Brotherhood of Steel quest line, you will get a full set of Hellcat armor and the plans to make more. You won't need to mix and match, and you can put your own legendary effects on it.

Thanks for the video! I just got back into 76 after leaving when the game first came out and it’s so much better! I love power armor but not used to the card system so I’m definitely gonna run this build. I’m currently level 43 so I’ve been scrapping all weapons like some experienced players told me to be ready for lvl 50-100. What’s the best way to get fusion cells if you aren’t rich yet? Haha

you get a Legendary perk at 50 and 75 right??? So you would have 2 legendary perks.

I thought 50 and 100. Every 50 levels up to 300. It's been a long time since I unlocked them all, so I could be remembering wrong. Wouldn't have made much difference to the build either way.
