only reason i dont use the assault rifle is the way it looks, if they added a skin so it didnt look like a car exhaust id be more willing to daily drive it.

The problem with the 4 "conventional" rifles is that they all have the exact same fire rate and most other properties are very similar. It's kind of ok for the fixer and handmade as they differentiate themselves as one being better for vats and one better for manual aiming. The radium has its radiation effect, but that's basically useless and the assault rifle is just under powered. I think all they really need to do is either give the AR a faster fire rate or higher damage than the others and increase the radiation effectiveness of the radium (maybe give it an innate armor piercing effect from the radiation) and we'd have 4 interesting rifles to use instead of 2. Not a bad gun, just not balanced properly. I found a ts e 90 in a vendor for like 6k and it's a fun gun. Hopefully it'll get buffed, along with the radium. Also, rejuvenated gang rise up

I hope that the dear developers will make the Assault Rifle a proper side grade to the Handmade by buffing the Assault Rifles base rate of fire by +25 points.

It should be renamed to "power armor assault rifle" and have a big damage increase but make it much more inaccurate unless you are using power armor in which case it should be a little more accurate than it is currently

I have a tse ar. Does a good job at cloud control and looks really nice with t45 pa. They should try an make more ammo mods for ballistic guns like shotgun slugs or 50 in the ar, even a grape shot for the broadsider

What they need to do is make all weapons viable, even pipe guns. It's riddiculous that there are so many weapons, but only a handful of them are worth using.

I do wish high ranking tubers made videos about weaps without a shite load of addins/buffs and aid to show the weapon at a base level as watching these "1shot kills" is misleading new players and low level ones that think you just build and become god in the field lol

If you’re able to gather an anti-armor legendary assault rifle and mod it as you see fit, you can get some insane damage done - the assault rifle has better accuracy over the handmade’s raw power. Must be something with the weight… perk up properly and you can easily solo a legendary scorchbeast by yourself with one of those assault rifles. Everyone has been paying attention to the same weapons for way too long and not noticing the changes in other weapons. So much customization, so little is actually done..

What perks did you remove from your DPS / Damage perks? The only way you reduced your damage is removing the likes of nerd rage or decreasing nerd rage, removing bloody mess or removing the commando perks or decreasing them. Other than that, unless you have mutations which are boosting damage and you took a radaway and removed them by accident, that's the only way I can see that you decreased damage 🤔 Another option could be the legendary prefixes that you have on your weapon. i.e if you have the explosive prefix and you removed demolition expert or something or any other legendary prefix related card to boost damage.

Can't have established weapons from previous games outperform the lame, copied/pasted/recoloured/renamed "inventions" from the current creative team. They be a bit sensitive to rejection. Which is peculiar as most things in nature adapt to repeated stimuli 🤔

Tbh id use a piece of mutant hound $hit if it allowed me to 1 shot anything smfh. Ive been messing around with perks etc forever im level 138 full health overeaters hellcat pa explosive railway commando and tank killer maxed. It takes 3 shots to kill a super mutant! Smfh WTF.
