also what people may not know your starter vault suit (the one from the start of the game )can also be sheilded as well, also if you go into the abandon waste dump bunker and go into the living part look in the bedroom as you walk out the bedroom there is a resipe for mentats on the wall by the door just read both pieces of paper on the wall

I always thought that wood armor mod was really odd. If your leveled enough to survive the trek into the mire you more than likely have armor laughably superior to wood armor and can simply buy or learn or find the shadowed mod.

But sometimes all Murmrgh gifts you with are wood armor pieces that are otherwise kick-ass! lol Usually because I'm too busy playing to remember to stop long enough to craft Secret Service pieces that I need...

My main char has a full set of shrouded wood armor with one chameleon and four vanguard's pieces. Two have 50% fall damage reduction, the rest is ap refresh and other useful minor effects. As a heavy gunner mostly in PA, with shrouded mod this set only weights like 2,5lbs or so. And i get the benefits from funky duds and sizzling style when wearing it. And when i'm not in PA i can survive surprising attacks, i can sneak around without beeing seen and with the red viper paint i look awesome 😁 I think the wood armor is way underrated, it's perfect as a PA backup or for sneaking builds (sneaking speed is increased by 1.5, and with sneak perks you don't get detected at all except in Daily Ops, so damage reduction is generally not needed). Though, i would love to get it modified with deep pockets or even ultralight 😂

@@torsteinnorbertson The wood armor is also the best for repair! What's that? The armor is broken again already? Just use a bit of sawdust and a piece of tape and it's good as new! I get so used to repairing my wood pieces that it almost physically hurts when I have to repair some of my other armor pieces (like scout or robot) and see this long list of rare(r) materials I am burning to do the repair. lol

I'm sorry. I never realized how incredibly difficult collecting recourses was in this game. I must be some oblivious top tear mlg or something. It's not desk fans aren't absolutely everywhere or every third or forth enemy has an energy weapon. Ballistic fiber is a bit of a pain to find if you don't know what any of the many military installations look like or duct tape. If push ever really came to shove... (sigh) look you can buy it with caps from pretty much any of the vendors. Sorry, but I've never met/seen anyone that had to use wood armor outside of wanting a complete set of unyielding.

Grab the Mutated flora notes that you find in the same room of the Modus vendor that sells X01. I've sold all 5 probably 10 times now for about 350 caps each note. I guess people either think they're the Flux themselves or the plans to learn them.

Bethesda is aware of our community and just how crazy some of them get by looking for this stuff but they also know we watch KZbin,Reddit and other forms of communication. If something new is put in the next patch players will discover it within an hour. Plus data miners see the code so they figure out what it is and how to get it.

I make a killing selling marine underarmor, with and without upgrades. Same for marine helmets and tactical helmets. I don’t charge much, 125 caps for underarmor, 100 caps for helmets. But the resources to make them are abundant and I sell more of those than anything else. Doesn’t sound like much but it really adds up when you sell 2 or 3 sets a day. Marine tactical helmets are also great for clearing out daily caps at the robot vendors. They sell for around 30 caps each with Hard Bargain, and they only take 1 glass, 1 plastic and 3 rubber to make.

If it costs 4 crimson Flux, you'd have to sell it for at least 2500 caps for any profit. Flux is a pain to make and sells for 500 each
