By exploiting a quicksave outside Victor's Shack before you enter, you can get one from one of the ammo boxes in there by reloading. I do this almost every playthrough, then use that and the one from Joe to sneak past Deathclaws.

Isn't the Ratslayer kinda bugged where it causes all enemies to aggro even though it's silenced? Something about its damage type if i remember correctly. Either way still a dope weapon, most patch mods fix it anyway cause it's definitely a bug. And it's always an awesome day when i see you in my feed keep up the great videos.

"The on hit effect for this weapon is defined as "Dismember only" (the weapon will only calculate the chance to sever limbs), as opposed to the varmint rifle, which uses "No Dismember/Explode" on hit effect (all limbs hit by the weapon will remain intact). There is a bug associated with the "dismember only" effect, which will immediately alarm all enemies in the vicinity of the killed enemy. This is not triggered by the sound level of Ratslayer, which is the same as the standard varmint rifle's sound level, but by the on hit effect itself. @@poormansproductions2402 btw i was wondering why you didn't run OWB first? It has an infinite source of Stealth Boys (the Stealth Suit Facility) and COS is actually silenced and has ridiculous DPS for a weapon that never breaks detection.

Same reason as when he did a Fallout 4 unarmed build he DIDN'T tank strength to 9 from 10 at the start, and THEN use the SPECIAL book to make it 11 permanently. Then go get the strength bobble. You can do it - it's not a cheat, but it is exploiting the game's inlaid mechanics. (Which personally I don't care about = The only way I beat Skyrim and Alduin is with the God Armor, and in Morrowind there's an actual Main Quest that GIVES you eternal free attributes for combat thanks to the uncurable disease you do eventually get cured... so "exploit" is a bit malleable in terms)

It's worth it. It depends on what do you need. Gobi has way more damage potential than a lot of rifles, but it doesn't have the silencer. CoS does less potential damage, but it has a silencer. 50 cal isn't worth it, because the Paciencia with HP ammo does more damage anyway. The moral is: Use HP ammo.

Paciencia with HP ammo is twice is better than any other weapon in the game in terms of damage. DON'T waste your time on this trash like 50 cal rifle, guys.

@@poormansproductions2402 well, that's how crit damage works in this game. Is scales from every source of damage, even from ammo bonuses, plus sneak attack doubles ALL the damage, not just crit damage, which generates a ton of power.
