As a longtime 76 player, the influx of new players is so cool to see. I can’t hop into a lobby without it being chocked full of people, and it’s so fun helping them out and seeing their reactions to our CAMPs that we’ve spent years perfecting. Some of us have even gone out of our way to build welcome center camps by Vault 76 just for new players to gather resources. Greatest community of players I’ve ever been a part of.

I would LOVE an Adam-style weekly gaming news round-up a la Rhykker, Bellular and so on.

Enjoyed the video, and thanks for pointing out the 'Big Rigs' review from Gamespot: I'm pretty sure I'd never seen it before. (My introduction to that game was from the AVGN). I'm not a returning Fallout player (I tried 4 a few years ago, couldn't really get into it.), but I find it fascinating how much of a surge it got from the series: I expected some, but not these levels.

The more Adam we get, the better life is. Your presentation of news is fantastic, I'll always love anything like this that you do.

Plenty of talking heads for video games but your articulation and radio host sounding voice makes it so good lol. Glad your continuing this in some capacity

like the Garfield & Friends TV show I have no idea where those farm animals came from they were just riding the coattails of Garfield

There are plenty of talking heads about videogame stuff, but based on your previous videos you do it better than virtually everyone else imo. Keep it up!

I have my 2 teenage daughters both playing FO76 together, they love it but it's not for FO vets any more...they kinda' play it like The Sims...🤯

Hahaha that's definitely what I've seen in a lot of the more recent gameplay, which makes sense I suppose.

To be fair, that's kinda cool that they can enjoy it in a different way

I played fallout 4. Im starting a fallout 3 run myself and am enjoying myself. The only finessing i had to do was adjust the resolution in the prefs file for my ultrawide

Fallout 76 seems like no man's sky, where the dev team kept at it and salvaged the game with a TON of updates.

Feedback: Video was good for background listening (you have a radio-host worthy voice), aside from some parts near the end where it seemed like you may have been ad libbing and reading through information for the first time as you were presenting it moreso than at the beginning. It started to feel a little rambly near the end, and the video would have likely been better with those parts cut in my opinion. Perhaps it is because you were talking about some subject matter that was new to you and you were underprepared for (this is a guess). Otherwise, you have a very solid foundation (presentation and narration skills, agreeable opinions, good research) to build off of for more content like this in the future! (the kind of content where you can hand off the uncut video to an editor and let them fill in some visuals and basic cuts with minimal effort on your end)

Hahaha I got lost in my own notes and definitely didn't have all of the names of the companies memorized so things went a bit sideways in that segment compared to the first. These types of videos are all produced and edit by myself, similar to most of the editorial videos. I try to make it as high quality as I can with the time I can afford. Appreciate the feedback!

Asmodee is the juggernaut in Tabletop gaming. They absolutely dwarf and blot out the rest of the field because of all the companies they've bought up over the past decade -- and then of course Embracer bought them. And it's vertical too as Asmodee owns design companies, stores, distributors, websites, etc. I don't think that they're ooze business practice has improved the number or quality of board and card games for consumers. Many point that it's led to higher prices on their properties for consumers.
@CritiqalHit8 ай бұрын
Wasn't aware of just how much reach they had (outside of seeing some of the bigger names under them) and that they were so vertically integrated. That can't be great for the board game market in general.

I'll add, I'm enjoying being apart of the group jumping back into Fallout. Like you Adam, I've never played the originals so I'm currently working through Fallout 1. There's a mod called Fallout 1 in 2 or (Fallout et tu) that runs Fallout 1 in the engine of 2 giving you a huge amount of quality of life features for the first game, like being able to control companion combat atittude/strategy or trade with them directly instead of having to pickpocket them lol I've also played over 100 or so hours of 76 last year and while it's definitely still a janky mess, in alot of ways it's pretty close to fallout 4 now in jank. They've been steadily adding new content to it over the years as they balance/fix stuff. I don't know how worth it is playing it solo, but being able to run around in a psuedo fallout mmo/multiplayer game with friends is pretty great.

Fallout 76 is my favorite fallout game. My favorite game period, so much fond memories. I recently reinstalled it. Props to Bethesda for not giving up on it.

I am a little disappointed you talked about Fallout 3 and 4, but not New Vegas. The best of the bunch!
@CritiqalHit8 ай бұрын
Hahaha sorry! I just wanted to stick to Bethesda's specific titles, though New Vegas is also getting more attention after the show!

FO3 was my introduction to this genre of gameplay, then 4 which was a mess but still enjoyable, then the support came thru with some amazing DLCs. 76 was equally as messy but still worth the effort & still enjoyable to this day, I take occasional breaks between seasons just to not get burned out, but I always stay going back for the community. Keep sleeping on Bethesda, Starfield is going to surprise you as well in the coming months! Profits. Profits never change.
@tristanskywalker19988 ай бұрын
Honestly, you should give 76 another shot. It sounds like you really only played it when it first came out. It's a COMPLETELY different game now. That's not even an exaggeration.
@Carloz214TTV8 ай бұрын
76 maintained its player base because it's good! Yall KZbinrs just live to shit on a game before playing it with an opened mind! I loved it! So much stuff to do and things to explore. We play the game for ourselves instead of listening to yall!
@CritiqalHit8 ай бұрын
Nobody is trying to convince anyone, here lol. Whether you like FO76 or not does not alter the reality of its release and much of its post release life. I'm happy that people are enjoying it for themselves. That's great.
@Madkiwi1158 ай бұрын
Keep it up
@evp1598 ай бұрын
Fallout 76 is fun. Why do you try to convince people to not like what you dont like? What i mean is why seem so shocked that other people like what you dont like? It happens in life all the time.
@CritiqalHit8 ай бұрын
What part of this video tries to convince people to not enjoy Fallout 76? I say my opinion on it, and then say that I understand why people may still enjoy it despite it's objective flaws. That's not trying to convince people any more than you saying you believe it's fun is convincing people lol. My opinions aside, Fallout 76 is well documented as the most catastrophic release of a AAA title in modern gaming history. This isn't up for debate. It doesn't mean people can't still enjoy it, but just like someone might have LOVED their Ford Pinto, it doesn't change the fact that it was a horrible car.
@evp1598 ай бұрын
@CritiqalHit ok I'll say it "AGAIN". Why are you shocked when people don't like what you like? Smh Jesus I don't care what is documented if the game is fun. Why in God's name would I care what people document about it. Sounds like sheep behavior. Wouldn't you agree?
@AaronBowley8 ай бұрын
still an overpriced shit game. should be free to play at best.
