36:09 There is one other manipulation you can do: With Clover if you have her as a companion actively and declare war on Paradise Falls she will join your side. She will stay aligned with you even after dissenting her. Note that if you recruit her but don’t have her as the active companion then she will join the rest of the slavers.

Paradise Falls is one of the strangest places in the Capital Wasteland, especially seeing the Big Boy statue off in the distance. It took a while to notice it was some sort of shopping centre, even when I got there and looked around.

Well, that was a fun trip around Paradise Falls. Two points: 1) only Jon could call a puppet-wielding insane serial killer "delightful". 2) "Let's nip back in time and pretend I didn't begin a fight. At least, not just yet." I think it's the very casual nature of the delivery here that makes it so chilling. Monstrous things are about to happen guys.

I love the way this series is done. I love the tour guide approach instead of a standard series of Fallout 3/New Vegas or even a challenge run. Even amongst lore videos this series is unique, the information is presented in a more entertaining way.

A real "here's how these things can go down" approach to the less linearly defined New Vegas and its clear faction paths. I'm loving it. Aside from challenge playthroughs I don't know how either 3 or NV can be visited again for MatN, is the only downside. Unless there's a remake or something coming down the pipe...

I think it would be quite entertaining to watch him in fights where he either runs out of ammo. The main issue I see with that is Jon knows these games very well, I'm pretty sure he would know where to go for what he needs.

I read years ago again in a guide there was a chance of Crimson and Clover randomly having a duel to the death (which as she is a potential companion and levels up with you etc, Clover ought to win quite easily). Never seen it happen though, but they do attack each other if Eulogy is killed.

Not so much "poorly designed" as "designed like a bad reality show." It really does show what would and should happen when pretty much everyone is out for themselves and only link with anyone else due to personal gain or fear. Even Arkansas shooting the kids makes sense if children could die in the game. In his own mind, being a slave is a fate worse than death, so he's trying to spare those kids from that. This thought ends up being a plot point in New Vegas, setting off Craig Boone's (potentially) self-destructive crusade against the Legion.

Day 1025 of requesting Zoo Tycoon. The fact that we have a canonical cloning lab full of homicidal maniacs sounds like it should be a great way to set up the slavers for a fall. Point them toward Gary, and watch as one of your problems gets solved; either the clones are taken care of, or the clones take care of them.

I love how they made the Mesmotron for Fallout 3 but for 4 they just said "Meh, fuck it" I just did a mission for the Raiders in Nuka World to capture a Super Mutant, you sneak up to the one they want(which they magically know about because reasons) and slap a collar on then tell it to go to Nuka World because it's a slave now In what universe would a Super Mutant understand that because sure as shit not Fallout and not even Bethesda Fallout considering the mutants are significantly more stupid than they used to be, yet this one just behaves when you tell it to be a slave and it also somehow knows where Nuka World is and will I guess get past the Gunners and whatever else along the way Genius quest design

Any slave freed will become friendly towards the player, even Raiders. You can enslave a Raider and free him to turn him friendly. With enough patience you can pacify entire Raider camps.
