No, they didn't retcon New Vegas. Yes, your favorite culture warrior got most everything wrong about the show. Edit: Also, I did a slideshow with this admittedly to avoid copyright issues.

this is why i wait a bit and go around reviewers. I did hear them say the ghouls are not made by radiation & something about iron man style flying for power armor??

@@juankusoff time investment. If i can get a summary to see if a show is worth sinking in 8 or so hours into by maybe hour, to hour and a half of different reviews to see the similarities or differing opinions. If the product has my interest still after, i watch and make my own judgement.

@@juankusoff Relax dude. Don't act like he's doing anything wrong. People rely on reviewers to do exactly what he's doing: gauge how something is so they don't have to risk wasting their time.

Kind of disappointed with the NCR. I know Bethesda was remaking the factions, but I kind of hoped the NCR was this thing out there building the world. One of the things that made Vegas so strong was there were larger societies instead of small factions.

wait you're telling me the actor for lucy played through the fallout games to get a feel for her character? man i already loved her character, now i have mad respect her as well and to the actor of lucy and the other cast. yall did a fantastic job. when i first saw the trailer i didnt think it would be so good, i thought it would be fine, not bad but fine. but you guys blew my expectations out of the water and i just want to thank you for that. i have a hard time as it is getting into shows but this show really pulled me.

@BigMicahC well thank goodness because I was thinking with Mr. House surviving it meant the House ending became canon, the NCR pulled out of New Vegas, and the Brotherhood linked up with the Mojave Chapter to invade Shady Springs. Also I hope the Legion makes an appearance

I'm cautious of this Fallout show, mostly pertaining to the showrunners, they worked on Westworld, which started of with a great first season ( which apparently Fallout has also done ) then after subsequent seasons it got worse and worse. I might give it a watch, but I can't stand bait and switches, which is what these hacks tend to do.

I feel like season 1 is a hook for trash season 2 and 3. But that could be my bias speaking, since the entertainment waters are more poisoned than a Michigan water supply.

Most likely. This show is gona remaing watchable as long Jonathan Nolan doesn't get bored and leaves like he did with Westworld.

In fairness to persona and SMT fans, you need to watch the lore videos or a lot of the writing is going to go over your head.

Wait didnt they move the capital before shady sands got nuked?

Sac town was the "back up city" aka Sacramento, and it took over since it somehow was not as nuked as other state capitals and a somewhat functional city. Thus became the new capital by default.
