Fallout TV Show Trailer Looks Excellent

The New Teaser Trailer for the Fallout TV on Amazon Prime just dropped this morning. This show is going to be very lore accurate and will be canon in the Fallout story. It takes place about 20 years after Fallout 4 in Los Angeles. The show is very accurate to the source material and it seems like it has the right tone for an interesting show. Are you as excited as I am to watch it? Or do you think it will be the Netflix Witcher 2.0?

the divergence happened in 1945. up to the divergence, the real world and the fallout universe are basically identical. the Chinese American war didn't happen until the 2070's. the bombs fell in 2077. the (fallout)American culture in 2077 was similar to the (IRL)American culture in the 1950's.

Defently a good trailer, only bad thing in my opinion is that the ghoul character doesnt look like a ghoul but i hope they explain that with something like he's mid ghoulification

Yeah I’m sure it’s easily explained away, the important thing is just that they are aware of it and address it, which I think they will.

the ghoul is the guy on the horse when the nukes fall. 8:32 is the same actor as 6:52. he has been a ghoul from the time the bombs fell (2077) to when the VD left the vault. fallout 1 takes place in 2161, fallout 3 takes place in 2277, and fallout 4 takes place in 2287. chances are this takes place at some point in this timeline making Walton Goggins "ghoul" character between 150 and 300 years old and has probably been a ghoul for around 200 years.

Hopefully it’s not crap like Rings of power. I watched 3 episodes and said F this show. I’ll definitely give the Fallout show a fair unbiased try.

We'll have to wait and see. I would like it to be good but I won't be surprised if it gets ruined like so much of pop culture has been the last few years with "the message". I've been a fan of Fallout for many years now so I'm trying to remain hopeful.

Call me jaded... I've lost hope and confidence in Amazon (or Netflix and Disney) putting out anything of value. It sure does LOOK good, but I dare not hope that it will stay faithful to the lore, that it won't beat its audience about the head/shoulders with THE MESSAGE, or spiral into generally crappy storytelling and plot contrivance. I'm happy you seem to be happy though.

We’ll see, nothing looks bad yet though. And they have already shown a lot of effort to make things lore accurate and Bethesda I think has said this will be canon and even said the show did things that they wished they would of added to their games and may add in the future. Fallout also doesn’t have characters to mess up like Netflix did with the Witcher, it’s just the setting that connects them so they can really tell whatever story they want, it will be hard to really mess it up as long as it’s just a well written interesting show.

Anyone who thinks this is excellent, hasn't got a clue why Soo many ppl have dropped Marvel, Disney and the like. They continue to push a woke agenda that's more important to them than making a good show/movie. This is why everything woke has had an abysmal time in theaters just trying to make back ends meat. The Common American is sick of it all.
