Up and Atom and friends are scarily powerful. New Hope is gonna need some good armour to keep from getting turned into goop at this rate. As for a fail noise, the Fallout New Vegas death noise perhaps?

If you've ever played Fallout 4, and run in to the Children of Atom near the lighthouse, you'll know those guys are dangerous in groups. Even just 1 or 2 can do serious damage with those gamma guns.
