Thanks for this! In my opinion this is the most convincing false shuffle of them all and I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of it. Also, special thanks to Jarek in this one. Although I'm not much of a fan of the aesthetic of his videos and channel, but his tutorials are very good. His variation for the end of this move felt much more natural to me than Asad's and made the cut much easier.

Thank you!!! You have no idea how much i appreciate this tutorial. About two or three monts ago I saw your video Card Control on your other channel... I was simply amazed by the false riffle and just by rewaching the part where you perform it again and again I got down the technique but I still had one problem - the last cut. And now with this tutorial and the tips you gave about the cut itself (pushing with your thumb, no tension) I feel as if I am getting better with every try :D Once again, a BIG thank you Asad! -Martin, Bulgaria

I tried both methods. I found that the cards needed to be very new and slick for me to separate them dependably. They would bind/ The version by 52Kards didn't fail as often, but still... What works for me is to do it like 52Kards, except don't swing the packet around. Just pull it straight out. That has the added advantage of looking normal, which is very important to me. Citizens don't do swing cuts. I have been practicing daily for a year or two, and I've got it down. Works great every time. This old dog learned a new trick.

For left handers out there, you have to do the exact mirrored movements he's doing. So whenever he says start with right, you start with left, and so on. It took me a while to get why I was being clunky with the cards then I realized it wasn't my dominant hand.

Very nice technique, guys. I've been working on another technique, past weeks, but I keep having difficulties with the speed it needs, as well as a hard sound with the bridge part, because the cards move different. After just a few tries, to get my aim for the bridge, I pretty much had this one down and its not fast, but fast enough to be convincing and no sounds that are different from what they should be. Great tutorial, guys! Thanks!

Here's a tip for what I did when learning this false shuffle: get a deck of broken-in cards that are not too slippery. When doing the shuffle, intentionally release a large packet from the right hand, then a large packet from the left hand. Repeat until only 3 packets from each hand have been shuffled. For the bridge, intentially put a lot of diagonal compression on the cards so the packets will have a lot of separation in them. Now you have a very well-defined, alternating packet, deck from which it's easy to cut out one set of packets to restore the deck to its original order. This makes an effective way to practice the move in order to get the muscle memory. With enough practice, you'll find you can use newer cards and shuffle more naturally without concern for how many packets are released from each hand or how many cards are in each packet.

I found a nice method to use to bring it to the bottom with having the perks of both ways. Have the card 4 or 5 cards underneath the top and use the spread cull, instead of bringing the card to the bottom just hold it there.

I couldn't get the sidejog with two hands no matter what I did, but I can easily get it every time by just doing a one handed bridge but by flexing the cards with me thumb and middle finger on opposite corners. If you start the shuffle with the side hand you do the bridge on, you will end up in the position he moves to hiding the cards automatically! I still can't do it with two hands, so maybe this will help someone else too.

Great explanation Asad and thanks for covering this! Hands down one of my fav moves bc I subscribe to the Madison false shuffle theory. Overhand, in the hands riffle, table riffle, or cuts - I never shuffle. It’s always false. IMO This is the push through version of the in the hands riffle bc it visually riffles everything - nothing to see here folks! 💯

you said that the bridge mixes the cards ? I am pretty sure that you mix the cards when they are intertwined together (when they are mixed, obviously). The brige just "closes" the mix but doesn,t really mix the cards...
