I always lift the deck when squaring up to cover it up from more angles. You did the shuffle beautifully in the intro.

The Zarrow Shuffle is arguably one of the greatest false shuffles ever devised. It cleverly simulates an ordinary tabled riffle shuffle while maintaining the complete order of the deck. This is an advanced technique and will take a good deal of practice to learn well, but it has a lot of applications and is well worth it.
@Vlow527 жыл бұрын
52Kards technically it’s not Zarrow shuffle. Zarrow shuffle utilizes the center block
@muaj817 жыл бұрын
doesnt matter, the idea is similar. plus zarrow shuffle is the only move that travelled from magic world to the gambling world and gamblers use it is a different way than herb zarrow

Nathan Kirkwood I know that his name is Asad. The commenter said "Thank you, Andy". The commenter's name is Andrew, and Andy is short for Andrew. He is saying it just like you would in a letter, email, note, etc., as a KZbin comment is just that - a form of writing to someone.

When performing the Zarrow shuffle do not pull up and slide in, you need to rotate the hands, by rotation the hands it removes the "click" sound and stops the "lift" and push in; results: a smooth and realistic false shuffle....

I saw that at a casino here in Wisconsin. The dealer riffled the cards, pushed them together and then pulled them apart without completing the riffle. Not once, but twice. Everyone at that table lost on the next hand and left the table, which then closed down. Next time I'm going to videotape with my cellphone in my breast pocket.

@onixz1007 жыл бұрын
Whenever I see someone turn the deck sideways like that, I know it's fake shuffling, because no one actually shuffles like that. I deny that it simulates an ordinary table riffle shuffle, since riffle shuffles, among regular people and people who are familiar with cards but aren't sharks or magicians, happen with the thumbs riffling on the short edges and the hands hovering over both packets.
@kieranbarker19027 жыл бұрын
Veritas A tabled riffle shuffle is not always a false shuffle... The in the hands method I believe you’re describing is a variation of the tabled shuffle, not the other way round...
@taylorhaws64026 жыл бұрын
you don't know anything, so don't comment about it. this is the shuffle that all professionals use. it is the way it is done in casinos, and pretty much anywhere that has some kind of legitimacy.

Robert Glazier This is the exact model he uses. It’s called a Magic Surface, and it’s very expensive. I would recommend a cheaper one if you’re newer to magic. Just search for “close up pad” and you’ll get loads of results. www.dananddave.com/products/magic-surface

For me the greatest false shuffle is definitively the truffle shuffle and not this shuffle cauz to do the Zarrow shuffle you MUST have a table unlike the truffle shuffle.
