Amen Pastor Jesse! Social media can frequently be a dangerous place that so much false teaching dwells. It definitely confused and made me unstable for a while when that was all I saw. People mis interpreting bible verses and teaching a theology because of their own mis interpretation of the word. That is prevalent all over Tiktok especially. God bless you sir! ❤

Pastor Jesse this is an amazing sermon. You and Trent stay strong. If God is for you, who can be against you. I have seen the comments. You have done amazing answering truthfully. I miss that part when I noticed your pull back, but understand completely how exhausting and futile it can get. We love you from Missouri. ❤

Amen! 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" John 1:14 KJV 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; Hebrews 9:22 KJV 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Galatians 3:26 KJV 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. Titus 2:13 KJV 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Romans 1:16 KJV For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. John 4:35-38 KJV Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours. 1 John 2:1 KJV 2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 1 John 5:13 KJV 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Thank you Brother Jesse! Eyes on the sky! Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Acts 16:31 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Colossians 1:14 “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Salvation is obtained by simply believing in Jesus’ death (Blood sacrifice), burial and resurrection for payment of all your sins (past, present and future) with your whole heart.

While intellectual belief in the facts of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection is foundational to salvation, the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for salvation to be fully realized. The Spirit convicts, regenerates, seals, empowers, and transforms the believer, making salvation an ongoing process, not just a one-time intellectual acknowledgment. The Holy Spirit ensures that faith is not just a mental exercise but a living, transformative reality in the believer’s life. Thus, salvation involves more than simply believing in the gospel; it requires the indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit to bring about true regeneration and spiritual growth. Galatians 5:19-21: “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Those who habitually live according to the flesh without yielding to the Spirit will not inherit God’s kingdom.
@BibleLine26 күн бұрын
@Outsider4JC That doesn’t mean your salvation is ongoing. Your salvation is settled when you believe in Christ. Continual belief and obedience are subject to the individual yielding himself to the Spirit. The Spirit can be grieved and resisted (Acts 7:51, Eph. 4:30). Therefore, the process is “progressive sanctification,” not “ongoing salvation.” Regardless of whether you yield to the work of the Spirit makes no difference whether you go to heaven. He’s sealed in carnal and spiritual believers alike. - Trent
@Outsider4JC26 күн бұрын
@@BibleLine Thats is where your doctrine is wrong. The Holy Spirit’s indwelling is not just a passive guarantee of salvation; it actively sanctifies and transforms believers. A life that consistently resists the Spirit’s work raises questions about whether the person is truly born again. Salvation is by grace alone, but grace is never alone-it produces change and fruit through the Holy Spirit. Claiming the seal of the Spirit without yielding to His work misrepresents the biblical doctrine of salvation. True believers are called to walk in the Spirit, not remain in the flesh (Galatians 5:16). 1 John 3:9-10: “No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.” A life marked by persistent sin is incompatible with being born of God. It dont get any more evident than that.
@BibleLine26 күн бұрын
There is no standard to your doctrine. Define “persistent sin.” I agree with you that we are expected to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. The straw man is the constant license to sin argument. Surely you know well that we preach discipleship and Christian living often. 1 John 3 is incorrectly taught translationally. The word is not “practice,” but it is “commit.” God expects perfection and holiness, but it seems as though your doctrine allows for some sin to creep in as long as it is not “persistent sin.” Look it up in Strong’s: poieo not prasso in the Greek. The reason I am eternally secure has nothing to do with what I have done in my body (that which is flesh is flesh), but it has everything to do with where I’ve placed my faith (that which is spirit is spirit). I believed in Jesus Christ for the full payment of my sin. He declared me righteous spiritually in that very moment. My citizenship is already in heaven, and I am sealed with the Spirit. The work I do from that point onward is NECESSARY for spiritual growth, but it is null and void when it comes to my salvation. This is because God’s righteousness has already been applied to me. He will no longer impute sin to me. Romans 3:20-4:8. - Trent

@@BibleLine Absolutely. There are no perfect Christians. We all still sin. But for you to give someone the option of living in obedience and being led by the Holy Spirit, or telling someone that continually living in sin without any consequences is ok as well. Then what road are they most likely going to take? They are going to take the easy road. That is why people are so drawn to this doctrine. It gives them a reason to continue willfully sinning, and thinking that is fine with God, when scripture clearly opposes that. To live in obedience to God, we must rely on the Holy Spirit. He guides, empowers, and transforms us to live according to God’s will. Our part is to yield to Him daily, trusting that He will lead us in the path of righteousness. This Spirit-led life is not just an option but a necessity for all who desire to honor and obey God. Being a christian is not supposed to be easy. Its a battle daily. But you are teaching people that they can take the easy road, never have a changed life, never produce any fruit, and still expect God to honor that. The bible does not teach that, and people need to be warned not to abuse the grace of God. He didnt save us to continue living a life of disobedience. He knows your heart, and your true intentions. The Holy Spirit is given to every believer in order to help you live that life. Not to be grieved and ignored. And quite honestly, if you are spirit-filled, then there is no way you can ever feel comfortable in your sin, because He will convict your heart, and you will have Godly remorse. If there is no conviction, and you are comfortable living in sin, then something is wrong.

Thank you Jesus praise the Lord for the work he has lead you to do, thank you for obeying his direction because you have helped me see the lordship salvation church I was in. They clearly would say lordship salvation and frequently teach from mcarthur commentary. I didn't see anything wrong with for 2 years but now I do. I joined a new church now that teaches free grace. All lordship salvation does is make people judge and fruit pick others around them and doubt true salvation by someone else's standard. My last day at church. They talked about a passage from the gospels that dealt with counting the costs to build a tower and said " that's why people don't get saved they don't count the cost for salvation, because it's a lordship salvation " Every fiber in me cringed and melted , I couldn't hold back and said that's for decipleship, the previous verses in Matthew say to hate ur parents that doesn't mean hate them for salvation, also in luke when luke writes about this same illustration he clearly says deciples.. The pastor then said I agree, I agree with that. Then had an intense discussion about how we're saved through grace through faith through Christ alone. And they insisted u have to have evidence. I bright up Many points supporting free grace. They really didn't understand what I was saying. It's sad because I love them but I pray for them This channel and norm diamante helped me see the simplicity and beauty in the gospel and that gives me confidence in witnessesing. Praise Jesus for his finished work

Greetings. I just want to say that i follow you on youtube and have received a blessing from your messages about how salvation is obtained through grace by faith in what Jesus accomplished, namely His death, burial, and resurrection. I was watching this video and noticed that at 24:38 into the video you were talking about how the battle between the flesh and the Spirit is usually a private thing. You mentioned that the Pharisee went out into the street proclaiming his piety. However, according to Luke 18:10-14, the Pharisee and the publican both went into the temple to pray. "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican ( Luke 18:10.) . " The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, 'God, i thank thee, that i am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. However, I do affirm that in Matthew 23, Jesus describes in detail what the problem with the Pharisee's is, which probably could be summed up as self-righteousness hypocrites who are trying to enter heaven by their own merit instead of through Christ's merit. Anyway, I was just wondering if this is a good verse to prove that the battle between the Spirit and the flesh is usually a private thing. Thanks and God Bless.

“WHERE TO SEE & HEAR UNADULTERATED TRUTH IS IN THE LIFE & WORDS OF JESUS THE CHRIST”, no need to have another person’s input; now whom will you obey? Jesus warned us over & over & over again about religious leaders & quite frankly, Christ & his disciples didn’t park in a building & wait for people to come worship. Jesus only went in the temples to drop off some truth, set the record straight, correct some stuff, heal & set some captive free & then he departed. Study for yourselves, the many warning & the very harsh things he said about the religious leaders & their followers; and he never changed his warnings. Find the pattern of fellowship & worship by following Christ, if you study that out, I believe you’ll change; just like the apostle Paul who counted the religion his was apart of as dung (poop); he understood after he had a real encounter with Christ. Too many people are having encounters & relationships with religion & not Christ. STUDY THE LIFE & WORDS OF CHRIST & FOLLOW HIM, not corruptible humans & fellowship like JESUS & his disciples did, why aren’t “CHRISTians” following their pattern?
