It’s honestly not even overall power creep that did it, tbh gen 8 really had power decay thanks to all the mons that just died along with megas and Z moves deleted. The main reason that it’s NU is because as it is now funny zarude is a top tier in ru and that Mon happens to invalidate celebi nearly completely. kinda wish Celebi had a "signature move" elated to time travel. something called "Healing time" with 5 PP which lets celebi go away for a turn (like if you used dig, fly, or phantom force) and when it comes back, it heals half of its HP and returns with its stats reset to normal. it would let Celebi become a perfect stall. Even better if it lets you use it in other pokemon ike Sky drop. that celebi once uses it in another pokemon in double battles, it cn reset and heal both of your pokemon or take out a very buffed opponent's pokemon while resetting it to normal state (as it, by bye primal, or mega evolution), and celebi steal heals itself. it would also let you re-abuse (and suffer again) of stealth rock and spikes or toxic spikes as this "Healing time" move would coun the re entry as the pokemon had switched back into battle

I’d really like to see a rapid fire round of gen 6-7 Pokémon that you likely won’t get to talk about for a long time, stuff like Talonflame, Celesteela, Aegislash, and Tapu Koko.

He was good when I was playing the story in Sapphire, lol. Was my rock smash guy and shrugged off all normal-type attacks.

Celebi was a star in my Gen 6 Inverse teams, Scarf allowed it to outperform Serperior as a revenge killer & healing wish was an amazing tech for it, others used it with NP as a late game sweep to devastating effect. Damn I miss Inverse.

What happened to that series anyways? It was supposed to be an ongoing series, and the ice type video is still the only video that they've put out about types as far as I know.

0:28-0:32 That was the first Pokemon movie I've ever watched. Also 0:34 is very nostalgic for me too. In short, this video is very nostalgic for me.

in Gen VII UU, not many people use Psychium or Grassium Z. The preferred set from what I last saw was Groundium Z Earth Power with Nasty Plot ofc. +2 252 SpA Celebi Tectonic Rage (175 BP) vs. 0 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Muk-Alola: 160-190 (88.8 - 105.5%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO(I have no clue if this is the Alolan Muk set)
