HERMITCRAFT SEASON 9 in Minecraft 1.19 the Caves & Cliffs update.
In Episode 22 False works on yet another MEGA project.. of sorts - but this time connecting up her base with a giant wooden railway bridge. She also checks out the King Rendog Champion monument for the quests he's setting out, with the aim to make some easy diamonds!!

Wonderful to see you back on the server, False! And what do you mean, you're not good at building trains?! Did you forget your Season 7 Cyberpunk city train build? I thought it was really cool! It's fun to see your competitive streak come out in the shard competition! There are so many little tasks you can do but the big points are in the unique tasks, of course. It's a matter of how much time do you have to dedicate vs rate of return of points. But hopefully we'll see your diamond tower start to climb to rival xB! And I love that you're using the little False eggs. Some people use them for the quests but I haven't seen anyone use them for the Arch of Champions. But they should because they're freakin' adorable!

More False, lets goo! Btw you're supposed to put your head/egg where the pumpkin goes to accept the quest and take one crystal. And then, once finished, you take your head back out and claim your reward. That way XB wouldn't have stolen your quest. He hadn't taken the diamonds cuz he had only just accepted the quest :P Love the train going through mountains. It reminds me of the trains that run through the Alps. I reckon a bright red train would be pretty cool. Matching the Swiss trains, but also, would contrast well against the mountains and the forest below.

X has opened decapitation shop, you can easy farm your heads there. Last bridge you build with Stress, as i remember, but it's way smaller.

Ideas for the bridge: Give the towers some stone foundations - maybe 9 block high stone bits waaay down at the bottom that the towers grow out of The walkway/second track with the grass that's under the main bridge could use some fenceposts that look like it's being hung off them The towers with the sea lanterns are actually really nice, I like them - maybe experiment with haybales for higher campfire smoke, also recommend soul lanterns to match the campfires if that wasn't already the plan

If you see X's little donation depot, you can donate echo shards, amethyst shards, or even "glass shards" thanks to a little bit of wording on his book ("donate a shard"). He's basically trying to cheese the quest contest btw.

On the edges of the bridge, what about trap doors on top of like fence posts or something that basically extend along the entire edge of the bridge on each side? The trap doors would essentially make an upside down U shape and look like a metal guard rail

Good to see you back! I think the little towers with the soul campfires would look better with slabs on the corners, maybe, so it's not so flat on top. And some warped wood signs or buttons would maybe carry the blue elements through the bridge a little more. Just ideas- love the build overall!!

If you want to make the bride look stronger widout adding too much material, you can add some diagonal wooden trusses between the floors using stairs.

Your tunnel looks like a face, which could be funny suggest to make it a gaint head with mouth open and entrance a top view of a coffee pot using magma blocks for steam and subtly hidden between coffee looking blocks that would cause the hermits walking in momentarily get coffee burn

For the rails you could go for walls combined with fence gates, maybe blackstone or cobblestone walls and dark oak gates?

Definitely right about not using fences on the tracks because of the scale so i think you should build your own fences so it fits in with the build size, its what the top part is missing.

Pro tip: When making raw log pillars, just plant trees and add bone meal. Especially with big trees/pillars. Then the game does half your work for you.

False you can put your head in to "call dibs" on a quest and then you take it back when you finish and pick up the diamonds. (atleast that's how I think it is and how ive seen it done)

Welcome back False, would love to see you with a minihud for the lighting and tweakeroo for the camera, I've only just started using it and it's so good, love it, amazing train line too! If you need bricks may I suggest a mud farm, use a non silk touch shovel for clay balls and smelt, perhaps a super smelter

When ive seen different types of rail bridges they would commonly have a foot bridge either along side the rail platform but i like the ones that put the platform underneath the rails and also have vehicles pass that way too. I think you could fill that space underneath with carrages and wagons (if the space alows) it would give off an early industrial effect bringing goods from the factory to the castle and hermits running around. Love the idea of the railway bridge. The lower pillars are "correct" in my opinion. It's a bridge supported from below by pillars and arches so it doesn't require towers.

An idea, though this would be very exhausting: wrap the train tracks around the mountain with little stations scattered in front of the base, factory, etc. That way, it wouldn't end abruptly in front of your castle. :)
