Life has gone in the hole since those times. We seem to be going backwards. Such a shame. This was and has always been one of my favourite, simple songs. So good to hear it again after all these years. It suddenly came back to me, and not just the chorus which I have always had running through my mind, this Friday, December 1st, 2023. My children are teens! My son's sleeping, exhausted from practice, and getting ready for a wrestling match tomorrow.

Simple, original songs.....good times. Interestingly when you listen to a lot of these Fame songs, the singers do struggle sometimes. These days they'd be digitally remastered to be perfect. I like flawed human beings and real people singing.

I have this song on record and I love it when ever my Mum gets her record's out on a Sunday afternoon I have to play this song I even remember the dance moves. I just love it Danny was my second favourite character Leroy was my all time favourite because in real life Gene Anthony Birthday was on the same day as mine. Loved fame I have an old episode from when I was younger that I would play when I was poorly off school it's the one where Dorothy goes to oz. Just loved Fame

Danny’s one dance move through the whole time the show was on the air......THE CARLTON and even before there was a FRESH PRINCE. SMDH! And NO TO THOSE VOCALS! He would try and bless his little heart and it was a bit of laughter that would come over me, same with LEROY. Great dancer but NO TO HIS VOCALS as well!!

This is a fun little number, it may not be the best song from the series and it may not be the best vocal performance, but it still beats anything Glee ever did! But with that, I'm just now realizing, none of the "Kids From Fame" in the first two seasons could really sing. Erica and Valerie were alright, but Irene Cara blows both of them away! Then you have Danny here and Leroy and they were just, flat, but then next to Montgomery, Julie and Bruno, they sound like Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. They didn't start getting good singers on here until the later seasons but at the same time that's when the show's writing started getting bad. The first two seasons really stayed true to the original movie and that's what makes them so special.
