The point about RGB Blaster would be really interesting, considering both audio and video can be pulled off the edge connector. Imagine an all-in-one flash cart for FC with its own built in screen!😮

Yeah but the RGB blaster doesn't really pull the RGB from the edge connector, it monitors the address lines and has it's own PPU implemented in an FPGA to generate RGB.

@@sarowie Not really as the Famicom still uses the original PPU and outputs it's original signal, this is just watching the addresses to generate a separate RGB signal.

You need a PSU with at least 1.5 amps and you have to connect composite video to the screen. Does your Famicom have composite out? If not you are going to need to mod your Famicom with a VAMP board. The link is in the description.

@@lorenzojohnson7383 Yeah it won't work in a stock Famicom unless you have the later AV Famicom. You need to "upgrade" your Famicom with the VAMP mod board in the description.

Hello, A friend of mine printed the case for this monitor, Could you explain how to put it? because if i put it like yours is too fat it does not close, do i have to remove the screws? all? do i have to remove the main card? Many thanks in advance

I removed the screws and the front decorative PCB. Dennis has two versions of the front face you want the one that doesn't use the PCB

Hello, one important thing, at least in my console (twin famicom) if i try to play with an 800 in 1 cartridge while i also have the screen installed many games does not work i guess it is a power consumption problem

Great video, I was curious when I saw it on the ali site. Have you tried using this on a top loader NES with a NES to Famicom adapter? would be great if it works. Top Loader NES + Nes to Famicom Adapter + this Monitor + the Famicom Game 😆 or add a Famicom to NES Adapter with an NES game 😅
