Chrontendo described the players as constantly emitting fart clouds which is the sole thing I remember about this game. "I'm sorry you lost. I don't think you can win, but wanna play one more game?" - I can't tell if that's a taunt or words of encouragement or what.

I have this on a multicart for the Famicom, and as much as I think the original Soccer didn't age well at all I'd probably still play it over this. I wouldn't call it the worst sports game so far though, I'd say that Stick Hunter was even less playable 😖

I thought it looked good, only for the behind the goalie POV part… otherwise it's meh…

I hope they're kicking up dirt and grass with that graphic... yeah I don't think I've ever seen a worse soccer game.

They really can't get any team sports games to work well on 8 bit consoles. Things get better at 16bits though
