I actually like this one more than the Captain Tsubasa games, but that's only because I don't like most turn-based games. The game itself isn't nearly on the same level as Tecmo Super Bowl and there's a reason why it's not talked about much. I'll also point out that the Kunio soccer game still exists and is still the best action-based one at the very least 😛

Looks like this was localized in EU but not NA. At first I was confused because the game name is similar to NA Captain Tsubasa (Tecmo Cup Soccer Game). And apparently the footage you used from the arcade original (Tehkan World Cup) was the wrong game, since it also had a top-down view like this FC port.

The footage he used was from the sequel to the original arcade game, which also had a Mega Drive port.

seems like an okay soccer game. would be curious to try it see if brazil is still the top tier (although if they cheated to put Japan in there, who knows)
