But there's one thing I don't understand! In NBME 25 there was one question regarding familial dyslipidemia type 2 and they said it causes reduced clearance of LDL by hepatocytes but how so? Because as is explained here the LDL receptor is on peripheral cells and not in the liver. And if they were situated on hepatocytes, how does that work in this story where IDL is transformed into LDL in the liver?

Also you can remember 3 has palmer xanthoma b/c the "m" in palm looks like a "3" that's passed out and laying down. Also 3 looks like E if it's flipped across a vertical line/mirror/whatever tf (ApoE def). Hey man, you hiring?
