Familiarizing yourself with QDA Miner Lite (A Free Qualitative Data Analysis Software)

There are good number of qualitative data analysis software available to help facilitate the coding, categorization and visualization process. Some of them are free and user-friendly (see: www.predictiveanalyticstoday..... One of them I explore is QDA Miner Lite (hprovalisresearch.com/products.... I demonstrate: how to import files, create demographic variables, code data, and visualize and export findings.

Thank you! Yes, all PDFs are converted to MS Word Document when importing them into QDA Miner Lite.

Good day Dr. Adu. Please how can I graphically represent my data using this software. For example if a question has a positive response and a negative response, how can i use a graph or chart to show the number of positive responses as against the negative responses?

You could use the 'Analyze' function to create graph (see: kzbin.info/www/bejne/in3Sfp-iiaikqsU) but before you use this function, you need to for create codes (and label one 'Negative' and the other 'Positive'). You then assign these codes to the relevant excerpts in the data that depict negative and positive responses. I hope this helps! Dr. Adu
