First let me say thank you for uploading these wonderful episodes of Family. Secondly please stop doing it because I'm running out of Kleenex. A grown man sitting up teary eyed. Awesome episode. Television doesn't make these type of beautiful shows anymore. I never saw this episode before. Hard to believe but I watched Family nearly 40 years ago.

I may have found the filming location of the antique store where Buddy buys a camera in this episode, accompanied by her grandmother and Willie. It may have been at 5742 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood. It is now a pet store with a Cat and Dog Grooming sign on a blue facade. The Feders Appliance store visible in the background when Willie is turning onto Lankershim Blvd. from Miranda St. is still there.

My parents were both sick and passed away the same year.But am afraid that I acted like Willy now I wish that I had acted more realistically instead of pretending everything was ok.But that is mechanism necessary for a loved one that cannot face reality.

This Series was also shown once a week on TV in Germany during the early 80ies. I was 16. One of my favourites then. But some of the seasons/episodes were omitted over here. Now I can watch them here on YT for the first time. They are even sold on DVD in English & German, but only 28 Episodes in total. Thanks for the upload.
