Great review as always! Amazing to see a car that actually has good usable storage throughout for a change. I would love to have an EV but there just aren't enough facilities in regional WA where I live unfortunately. Hoping that will change soon as I would love to have this as a family car.

Thank you! I am sure we will get there, and something I found when driving EVs is that more chargers are out there than you realise when not driving them! Around here anyway! A bit like when you buy a car and then keep spotting others the same model that you never noticed previously 😂

By all means, go for it! Check out the charging infrastructure for your regular routes and locations with one of the many apps. Be a pioneer and help push the transition!

@@fal645 on the original order, still no estimated delivery time. But we sourced an awd ultimate with both packs from another dealer, which is currently on a ship, so should get it next month. The original order from December, would likely have been the autumn

We’ve booked the MY23 ioniq 5, coming from a model 3. We’re a bit worried with the trunk space. Is it large enough? Larger than the model 3 with the extra room in the trunk included? We have 1 baby now and maybe another one in a year or two.

How is the "height" when loading a little one into a car seat? Do you have to hunch over?

It's higher than it looks but not as high as a 4x4.

If the seat is rear facing and you have it behind the driver seat yes that is the tallest driver we could fit. Ioniq 6 is roomier but still 193cm would be uncomfortable if not impossible as a driver in front of a rear facing seat

Wow. We are expecting our second child and don’t understand how anyone can find a car that will fit 2 rear facing seats. The Ioniq isn’t a small car.

@@cheekydollar no it's an issue. Only suggestion is to put the 2 seats side by side (one behind front passenger, one in the centre) as this can make more room for the driver

Looking at the features mentioned, I think this would be the mid level. As they line up with mid level in the UK. Entry doesn't have heated rear seats or memory seats. And you can't remotely move the car on the entry spec either, I think the front seats on the entry level don't fully as well.
