A re-run episode of the Family Classics show with Frazier Thomas. In this episode the War of the Worlds film by H.G. Wells is shown. A short preview of the Island of the Blue Dolphins film is shown after the film ends which would be part of a future Family Classicss episode. This film had never been shown on television before.
The Family Classics with Frazier Thomas show was directed by Bill Hartman. Graphics arts by Anthony M. Sulla. Entire production supervised by Frazier Thomas.
This broadcast was aired by WGN-TV Channel 9 Chicago, Illinois on February 10, 1980. It was recorded onto a Sanyo V-120 V-Cord2 format videotape with a Sanyo VTC-8200 VCR.

There is something very special about local retailer commercials. Where I live in California there was a similar retailer called MMM Carpets. Vintage broadcasts act like momentos that help us remember the past. Music is perhaps the greatest way to remember the past but television broadcasts deserve to be praised as well.

I do but I honestly lost interest. I am focusing on sharing children's programming from the early 2000s era. You deserve more subscribers. I remember watching the Elvira Show and Elvira's Movie Macabre back in the 80s but Svengoolie goes much further back in time. It really set the stage for future horror shows like HBO's Tales From The Crypt.
