It was so sad watch lateisha on the show. You can look in her eyes and see the hurt. When they did the toast and she put the glass in and they totally ignored her was sad to see. Nicole running out after the comment just shows that she is an avoidant. That was the best time for her to talk about the situation with her sister but she totally disregarded that. I love the show so far. Def a good watch

I enjoyed this show. I like the fact that we were able to get a little family history, understand the family dynamics and a little insight into the ladies personal lives. So I just finished the entire 1st episode, and I can tell you right off the back, I'm not feeling Nicole! She has this resentment towards Lakeisha, but girl, be mad at ya daddy for hurting your mother! Lakeisha was an innocent child now adult of the situation. I can't stand when black families do this, and I can tell right now that Nicole and Monay mother probably doesn't see it for Lakeisha either!

The thing with Lakeisha and the J sisters is that they grew up together, which is why she is closer to them. The Js mom, Jackie, took lakeisha under her wing when she was brought around the family as a kid, and she was with them more than with her dad's family (wife and kids), so she didn't forge the same relationship with her own sisters.

I grew up on Homestead in Houston (Forest Brook Jaguars!!!) and I would have never guessed that O'Rene's wedding hall was short for Oscarene. And I always thought it was pronounced O-Renee lol. Either way it's nice to put a face to a name...and I feel the same way about the state of Houston which is why we are out here in the sticks now 😂

I like the show. I haven't thoroughly enjoyed a familial reality show since Run's House. I will say I'm saddened by the relationship between Nicole and Lakeshia. Nicole has RBF and a very dominating presence. It's like she's serious all the time, so I can see why Lakeshia doesn't feel like she's approachable. There's another reason why I feel like their relationship is strained but we'll get into that later by those previews. Jermeisha and Jaquitta are my type of carrying on. Their personalities are everything.

I do think that when Nicole tried to say the J sisters were being shady they had to let her know not to play with them. So many things to say! Lol 1. Nicole is definitely holding and placing resentment where it doesn’t belong, which is her sister. Their dynamic is very prominent in our community so I do hope the sisters are able to see past their parent’s issues and creates a strong bond between them. I can understand if their mom doesn’t want to be around but the sisters should definitely work it out. 2. I like the other set of sisters, the J sistas. lol I could definitely hang out and be merry with them. 3. Ok, so Ms. Mesha, I am a true Southsider so I don’t know too much about northeast Houston but as a first time homebuyer, they are certainly building nice developments out that way and I’m all “dang, am I gonna make that jump to the nasty nawf?” lol

episode 1 was good to me!! i felt inspired & empowered seeing all these beautiful Black women running stuff!!! 👑👑👑 &- it’s a personality thing for sure b/c i LOVED nicole 😪 i tend to also have a more serious disposition, am more black/white, get to the point kinda personality so i GET her. i wouldnt be surprised if she is an introvert also. people that’s ALWAYS jokin & playin around - & havin to be “on” for long periods of time drain me 😫w/ that: jaquita & jermeisha were gettin on my nerves 😫🤣🤣🤣 but again, it’s a personality thing i guess i hope this show doesnt take a bad turn for season 2 & lose the BUSINESS foundation & become about affairs & “who dislikes who” 🙄 like “huntsville” did
