I'm not an NRA member, but since nothing has been done about the crazy lax rules about gun ownership, I do believe we all need to be armed. We had a situation a couple of years ago, a drunk owner tried to get into the wrong unit, by kicking in the door. It didn't end well. I had a situation, due to a guest who didn't properly close the door (to avoid making noise) and we had a person enter our home at 2:00 am. We handled it without use of a firearm, but it could have been tragic if it weren't for quick action by the 3 of us.

And the local shelter is filled with dogs begging to be adopted before their euthanized, where is the part about the five house dogs that attacked the criminals coming into their home? Where is that German Shepherd that was biting the burglars? When police arrive they have a German Shepherd in the back of one of their patrol units, where was the homeowners German Shepherd? Those poor dogs in the shelter serve such a good purpose at protecting us and they need homes so badly there's nothing worse than hearing a story about a home that has no dogs in it and these people are poor pitiful me they broke in an attacked us if they hear deep loud barking when they are first kicked the door I think they would might have walked away knowing they didn't want to be a hungry Shepherds Chuckwagon for dinner
