Awesome video yet again, a ton of fun. Learned something new, didn't know the per angler vs. vessel limit was whichever was greater... always learning! Cheers!

Love that you show catch ratio per lure. Do you try and time your departure with out going tides or something else?

@@aquaman461 I was hoping the bite breakdown would be helpful so thanks for saying that! Anything else that would be helpful to see or talk about? I have had better fishing on the outgoing tide here in South Florida but it’s only one part of the equation. I say fish when you can fish. For me, it just happened to be the outgoing tide after my family dive. I’ve had great bite days when I expected it to be slow and vice versa. If I was able to pick the perfect day to fish here it would be spring, 2 days in front of the full moon, and the outgoing tide starting at first light. :)

@g2pangler agreed fish when you can. I say it's not about catching its the therapy of fishing. The sound of water hitting my hull. The sound of birds. It's all magical. I fish out of boca so enjoy the lessons on local waters. I love where I live!

For the the Williamson Sailfish Catcher is it 4.4 or 5.5 length ? And lastly for the artificial Bonita strips what size are you working with? 5 inch 6.75 or 8 inch ? Thanks
@g2pangler3 ай бұрын
@@TigerKamy134 hey Kyle, small flyer, and I like to thicken them up with a squid or feather. Sailfish catcher is the small one. I sometimes troll the larger one on an outrigger to ring the dinner bell but use the small one behind the shotgun teaser. The Need A Strips (artificial Bonita strips) I like are the 5.5” for the larger 12/0 planer hooks. The bigger ones work too. I use the smaller Need A Strips for smaller lures to add a little action.

Wonderful video, congratulations, it's good to go out and have good fishing and at the same time share with the family. I use almost the same technique but I have problems when I use NEED-A STRIP #8 combined with Mustan hook #10.

@@jorgeluisblondin7167 love when the bite is good when my son is onboard! Is the problem with the strip that it’s too long? I like the 5.5 version on my planer hooks because it doesn’t leave much room for a short strike. I filmed them underwater at trolling speed and the action is still great.
