I also prefer steak with tuk prahok over a hamburger. My family wraps the steak in lettuce with cucumber and different mints before dipping it into the sauce. And oftentimes we boil tripe and chitterlings to eat with. One of my favorites.

I prefer steak with tuk prahok as well since it's a healthier option with a variety of veggies than a hamburger. Hamburgers usually have a high cholesterol content, which I try to avoid high cholesterol items.

@@henrymao2407 Yes, it seems like Khmer people may be more genetically predisposed to high cholesterol, diabetes and hypertension. I do think steak with tuk prahok and greens/mints is a healthier option, but one just needs to be careful about eating too much prahok because it is high in sodium.

@@d.c.3534 I agree. Khmer people are also more genetically predisposed to high carbohydrates, such as white rice and bread, than American people.
