What a wonderful old churchyard! I'm watching from Ohio in the US. That so many stones have lasted 200+ years is a tremendous thing. I wouldn't mind another video from this place. Thank you for reading so many inscriptions. I found this place in Find-a-Grave, but there are only 5 burial places listed. After watching the video, I am tempted to enter as many of the memorials you read! Rest in peace, all the souls whose remains lie there.

That is a beautiful cemetary. Such well carved stone work. It would be very interesting to see if there are any achetectural renderings of inside the masoleum? There must be some archetectural plans in the city hall? If the inside is as nice as the outside, that must be impressive to see. How kind of you to read all the names, the dates and the stories of these souls long past. Many family members may have moved away or have all pased away themselves. Saying their names, a bit of their lives and how they died makes them live again for a little while. I very much enjoyed this show and all the work you have done here. God Bless you!

I’m local to this church and have peered inside the mausoleum before. There’s a small square hole in the ground and nothing more inside that you can see. About 10 years ago, the wooden doors were moved from the mausoleum, thrown inside it, and the space occupied by them was bricked up. Kind of eerie, it’s likely nobody will ever go in or out of there again…

So , What you love is seeing Cemeteries and Gravestones. You are not interested in the history or any secrets ? I guess I go back and forth. There was one grave that you were allowed to go in. I could not hear anything because of the wind. I have wanted to ask you about it . I had not EVER seen anything like it. Maybe you can tell me about it. I am watching KZbin and the are looking at Saint Friers Cemetery. Have you ever been there ? Anyway, it was a very Rich Family. There was a Family Chapel falling down. There were two Coffins. One had a Skeleton on top and the other was normal. I could not hear anything, because of the wind. What was that about ?

It turns out that this video is even more fascinating than I thought. I've had a great interest in the history of the Royal Navy since I was a boy. Today I was reading about the famous Admiral Sir Jackie Fisher who rose to become First Sea Lord. In 1879 he served on HMS Northampton as Flag Captain to Admiral Sir Francis Leopold McClintock. This remarkable man was not only a famous Arctic explorer but as I've just found out, he was the nephew of John McClintock, 1st Baron Rathdonnell who rests in the McClintock mausoleum. Admiral McClintock is buried in Hanwell Cemetery in London.

Old grave yards just have a different feel to them, more personality! My grandsons step dad now has him, 8 years old scared that he can’t sleep at night watching his closet and door way thinking ghost are coming because he shut the breaker box off on him and did scary things. I’d tried to explain to him that there is no ghost. Like to kick his step dad where it hurts, scaring a little boy. 😡
