I agree. 18-20 are a revival in quality. From loosely around 10-17 (i.e., from ‘Seahorse Seashell Party’ on) it was hit or miss.

@@JCSuperstar777 It's probably due to my poor judgement of comedy and really dumb sense of humor, but I don't have many issues with 10-17 either. In all honesty, the earliest seasons are the ones I dislike most because it's the absurdity and random shit I appreciate from seasons 8 and onward. It's a reverse Simpsons, which I never liked much anyway.

I always tell a certain SJW friend if mine, who resists what she considers the socially or politically offensive parts of the show, that the pure genius of the show really lies not in the ‘offensive’ jokes, but in the absurdities. ‘Distracting Trumpet’ is a perfect example.
