The joke about Adam West is he was like the nicest guy you would ever know and for him to do this character was legendary. Just like how Patrick Stewart (I know him has Professor Xavior from Xmen, but alot knew him as the Captain Picard from Star Trek) is Stan's Boss from American Dad.

Hi Blu, the A-Team was a show in the 80's starring Mr. T who had his own cartoon, action figures, cereal, and was in Rocky III as Sylvester's opponent. They did a movie years later. I've been slowly watching the Batman series from the 60's more so around 1966 when it's own movie came out. So funny to see how cheesy it was. BAM! POW! etc. Burgess Meredith aka Mick from Rocky was the first Penguin, Julie Newmar was the first Catwoman, Cesar Romero was the first Joker, Burt Ward was the first Robin, Alan Napier was the first Alfred, Neil hamilton was the first Commissioner Gordon, Yvonne Craig was the first Batgirl, Frank Gorshin was the first Riddler, Van Williams was the first Green Hornet, George Sanders was the first Mister Freeze, etc, few others played Freeze too. Batman protected Gotham for 30 years before retiring. Have a good night.

Adam West on Family Guy was pretty much a fictionalized version of himself. The only similar character he played whom I can think of was during a cameo on The Simpsons. He was behaving in an eccentric manner to the point of making people uncomfortable. That might have inspired his eccentric, paranoid, elderly mayor character on Family Guy. But he became one of the funniest and most unpredictable Family Guy characters. Adam West as an actor became famous again to a younger generation as mayor of Quahog.
