Also people are acting like this is a sign of Checkered Past and Toonami Rewind getting killed off but to me, it's a sign that they're in no danger because if they were then the marathon would start at 5p, not 7p. And finally, I'm thinking they'll reair Larry and Steve on Checkered Past at 6:50 PM right before the Family Guy marathon starts on January 1st

I am only realizing now that family guy and furturama have had a very parallel history. They are both FOX shows that have been cancelled only after a few seasons due to poor ratings with adult swim eventually getting them revived as well as DVD sales. They kept going into the 2010’s being broadcasted throughout cable channels and local TV stations. There are some differences of course mainly with futurama getting cancelled again and then being revived again. And the series not performing the best on adult swim, but much like family guy being aired on networks from WB, paramount and Disney. Also I did read the article when this was announced they said OLD episodes will air. We do not know how old but I’m guessing seasons 1-10

I'm guessing the 3 day marathon will only be fan favorite episodes, and after that when they air Family Guy on weekdays on episode rotation from seasons 1-15, which imo is a great idea. We'll see in a few days when the schedule is released.

While Adult Swim is having a little bit more variety like you stated there, I would very much prefer the type of variety that Latin America's Adult Swim has such as some of MeTV Toons' 90s/2000s shows on Checkered Past, HBO Max exclusive shows, etc., rather than more Fox toons, I'm getting a bit tired of those now.

I was hoping they would ease off of the FOX shows and go all out with original programming, but they won't because it reels in the highest ratings (except Checkered Past which rates slightly higher than the FOX shows)

no no no no family guys coming back to adult swim in 2025 it’s already on three different channels and I don’t even like Family Guy. It’s a bad show. I prefer The Simpsons Aqua teen hunger and Futurama, but if anyone likes Family Guy, that’s okay it’s just I don’t like it but if you like it that’s okay. It’s your opinion but this is my opinion and I don’t like Family Guy.

Objectively, though, the show has worse writing in comparison to other shows like it like American Dad. The more I watch Family Guy, even some of its old episodes, the more I find myself liking it less. At least the recent seasons of American Dad try to do fun things and actual stuff with the characters, even if inconsistent. There is just way more inconsistency and unfunny stuff done with modern Family Guy. Even if it's not AS bad as seasons 11, 12, and 13, they are still so horribly stale and boring.
