Ive seen it to many times when i was younger were nice guys get rejected by a women who ends up falling for someone who doesn’t treat them well. I think when we are younger females go for someone with status how cool they are maybe what they wear or just looks. When a guy as a younger person really likes a girl and gets rejected by her only to witness that same girl with a guy that doesn’t treat them well some end up assuming that’s how you get the girl. You treat them bad that’s what women want. That’s where this assumption comes from. Men being rejected only to find that women dating someone bad for them. Down the line that same women complaining why she can’t find a good man when he was there the whole time. It’s certain women showing men this is how you get a girl this is what we want. Some men grow up and realize that’s not the way it works while some men keep that mentality and always treat women without respect thinking that’s what they want. Thing is something it works either way nice or bad
