Back in the 80s and 90s there was what could be called "Shock Culture". It was the start of cable television and our worlds had been opened up to so many things. We had Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Jerry Springer, Howard Stern, Andrew Dice Clay, Dennis Leary. We were all acknowledging that the Cleavers, Little House of a Prairie, the Cosby Show, Andy Griffith, etc were not what real life was like. Part of the act is the fact that it is so over the top and offensive. It was shocking at the time, and we didn't know how to react. Back in those days, you didn't have the language on television that you do now. We were fed a bunch of wholesome television programming and it was something to hear some of these comedy artists saying some of the most off the wall stuff.

Rugby is extremely strict, rules wise, especially when it comes to protecting your Head and Neck. In American Football, it is encouraged to go for the head. You are taught to tackle in a certain way and to use your body in a certain way, to not only protect yourself but protect others. That is why we don't use as much protective gear.

I’ll tell you how I grew up in the 70’s….Comedy was comedy 🎭…know one was safe…Every race every religion was on the target 🎯 board but the thing was we used to know how to laugh at a joke even if there might be a little truth or stereotypes to it…Go back then and watch comedians or shows of this time and you will see the jokes were on everybody …Somebody like Redd foxx Richard Pryor Eddie Murphy Bill Cosby Carrol Burnet Tim Conway and more took a shot at everything and everyone…I mean take a look at blazing saddles the movies 🎥 done by Mel Brooks a Jew..He made an amazing comedy with all kinds of crazy jokes but the world 🌎 didn’t stop we all just laughed at the jokes because comedy 🎭 is meant to entertain and to be funny 😆 and at the end of the day nobody is hurt.. You go home and talk about the great jokes and what a great night you had…It’s not like today where everybody gets upset..You are supposed to be having fun and laughing not taking offense.😊😊😊

This is the problem with America 🇺🇸 right now ….You can’t say what the f you want to say ..So how is America 🇺🇸 free if we can’t express our true opinions…We need to get back in touch with our man hood and what makes America great Freedom Of Speech 🎤…Ya where would comedy 🎭 be without free speech and everybody not being butt hurt over everything being said that hurts there little feelings..😅

Saw this with my mom, dad, best friend and my girlfriend back in the summer of 87. My mom couldn't stop laughing, she began to worry my dad cause she couldn't even breath nor talk she was laughing so hard.... I agree with all the good people's comments regarding how this young generations head would explode if they time traveled back 30 years after all this fascist's liberal propaganda poured into there head since 2008. It's actually sickening what the left has done to America's youth.

Comedy isn't good comedy if it doesn't offend someone or make fun of stereotypes, relationships, and other situations/norms. This generation couldn't stand a chance listening to the comedians of the 70's and 80's
