Ok, no. Peter is in the complete right this entire episode. All he wanted to do was go to one event out of the entire trip and even had the generosity to invite his friends and families, and all they did was fuck him over, and then when he finally snaps, he’s seen as the asshole. Now, if he was badgering them the entire time of not wanting to miss them and caused problems that prevented him from going, yeah, this would be fine, but I think this is one of the only modern family guy episodes where Peter isn’t some psychopathic menace to society, and he still gets put down. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I have to fully sympathize with Peter. He may be insufferable sometimes, but he didn’t deserve this. Edit: Holy shit. @@Ronin.Samurai While that sentiment is true, it only really applies to those who always want to get what they want and being complete dicks if anything stops them from doing so. That’s not the case here. Peter was patient for a majority of the episode and took the group into consideration. He did everything they wanted to do as long as they allowed him to do his thing. He even took the blame for Lois for that massive ballistic warhead that clogged the toilet. In fact, she even promised him 2 souvenirs if he held his end of the deal, which he did, but she didn’t, so it’s completely fair for him to expose her if she couldn’t keep her end. Aside from him burning the cabin down (cuz I will admit, that was too far even if it wasn’t intentional), him blowing up at his friends seems justifiable, especially when they just straight up say to him that it just seemed like a waste of time, and to be honest, if I were in his shoes at that moment, I’d blow up on them too. Which actually brings me to another point. It’s not like he was tricking them to go with him on vacation. It wasn’t some devious plot he cooked up just for him to get what he wanted. He willingly invited them when he didn’t have to do so, but he did it as a gesture out of the kindness of his heart (which again, in modern family guy, happens very rarely), and they knew the entire time he wanted to go to the bear show. If he was plotting and they were oblivious, again, the climax is understandable. But in the end, everyone else was in the wrong for ruining his enjoyment knowing fully why he wanted to go. All I’m saying is, he’s not necessarily in the right, but he was completely justified.

Since when did Joe have a minivan. I was expecting Peter to snap again and scream “ALL I WANTED WAS A NICE FAMILY TRIP AND YOU GUYS RUINED IT!!!” Joe has had enough and so he puts his car into drive and tries to hit Peter but misses and crashes into the house. Quagmire then screams Cheese Cheese Cheese Cheese and he and the others try to do the same but miss and hit the house as well. The house then explodes and Peter wakes up realizing that what happened was all a dream all the while being awoken by Bob Belcher. Peter tells Bob that the joke is he is covered in coke fizz. Bob then screams Jon Benjamin causing the universe to explode. In all seriousness, I haven’t seen the episode, but I already feel bad for Peter.
