Its hilarious how people somehow "Think" this episode rewrites Brian's entire back story. When it doesn't change the fact he was born on a farm or taken away from his mother. Or even the fact he lived on the streets with George-T. Before Peter found him. Since we never saw who adopted him after the farm. So this episode likely fills in who adopted him after the farm.

It's the same with the Hendersons, Brian even stated that he was reported missing long before meeting Peter. Plus, we've seen 1 fake backstory about being a puppy, and that was him lying to get out of the shower. So his story goes. Puppy farm. Adopted by the Hendersons, and later goes missing. Lives with George Meets Peter, and becomes his dog.

I actually understand Brian’s viewpoint. Peter is an actual father when the joke calls for it, but otherwise isnt. Lois is one of the worst mothers, failing to raise her children well, neglecting her daughter, and having toxic obsessions. Chris is just plain dumb, and the rest of them don’t call him out or try to fix it. Meg is meg. Stewie is actually sane. Yes Brian is an alcoholic and constantly goes for women and an absolute ass, thinking he’s smarter and trying to seem way better, he was relatable for once.
