I was in a similar position. My family kicked me out with no money and no car while I was in college. They picked the worst possible time to do so and I had done nothing wrong. My other brothers had pissed my parents of so they kicked everyone out. Nothing like group punishment. I ended up being massively more successful than my parents or brothers.

Get a lawyer and have them write up a public letter stating that you are no longer financially responsible for anything from your parents or brothers and remove yourself from their next of kin. That way they cannot come back later and tried to make you pay for anything (I. E. Mortgage, car loan, funeral, ) yes there's hundreds of people on redit that have been sued for family debts.
