As a single person, I always envy you two for being so close! There are so many convenience stores in Tokyo that I don't decide where to buy, so it is very interesting to see you two give your winners and losers for various products. I will use this as a reference for my shopping.

I'm enjoying your adventures in Japan and its interesting to see what foreigners think of the convenience stores here in Japan. Hello from Osaka, Japan! My favorite convenience store is probably Lawson.
@HeresGoodTravel8 ай бұрын
We liked them all! In Osaka we went to Daily Yamazaki, but it was t our favorite. Had a really cool sign though, very 80’s. Thanks for watching, we are busy at home with work but we are working hard to get our Osaka footage edited for KZbin! See you soon and thank you for your patience!

Japan needs to hire you guys as food critics! Convini can lean from you a lot! The video was so educational and I just leaned something I never knew. I didn't know that the rice quality between Lawson and Family Mart was that different, and the size of spicy chicken! Wow, this video is very good! Some tourists put that spicy chicken fille between 'world-famous-egg-sandwich' and they kind a created their own sandwich. And they said it was delicious and it was like a make love to the sandwich! I must try that, hahahaha!!!! I just subscribed your channel which I thought I did long time ago. Can't wait to see the next video at Osaka!

I don't think you really get all the procedures these konbini's go through to release a new product. They already have tons of food critics; but I know you're not being too serious

Yeah. Those bullet trains are very impressive. Upon stopping in stations, they have personnel that bow to the conductor. To them it's an honor to be in the cockpit of that extraordinary piece of machinery. You don't feel any movement whatsoever while that thing flies. And they're never late. Within an year, am maximum of 10 seconds delay per total. It's another world that country. I dare you to travel by train in Romania :)))). Late every time, and the movement of the train, it's therapeutic massage.

Hahahahah. The last comment had us laughing so hard! We got to visit Bucharest but sadly missed out on the other cities. We do want to return and ride the sketchy train all over! You’re right though Japan is top notch! Thanks so much for this comment, it made our day

The best item on the combinis is the Chou. It's a pastry with lot of custard cream and regular cream in his interior. This is easy the BEST supermarket pastry I ever experience. It remain me an Eclair but fat and round . The best, and cheaper, Chou you can find is on Newdays, a combini store that you can find in the JR stations.

I work at 7-Eleven, so I'm sad that 7-Eleven is not your choice.
@HeresGoodTravel7 ай бұрын
We love 7/11! We went there most often on both our trips. We feature them in some of our day in the life videos to come but we are trying to plan a whole video dedicated to 7/11! We might do a compare and contrast with 7/11 in the states, stay tuned!
This is the second time I’m watching this video and I just noticed that your audio on the bullet train was terrible. The auto was so low. I couldn’t really make out what you were saying. I don’t know if you can go back to this video, but can you do a voice on the bullet train? Sorry that was voice over on bullet train.
@HeresGoodTravel7 ай бұрын
Yeah sorry, that was just our very first time on the train and we weren’t aware just how quiet it would be. So we just had to whisper so as not to disturb others. Sorry for the low audio in that part, next time we will try to do a voice over.
@elwood07538 ай бұрын
I think it was a great decision not to include 7-Eleven, which is gaining a bad reputation among us Japanese lately, in this determine the Convini-King. Lawson and FamiMa(FamilyMart) are safe to use because they do not have the raised-bottom packaging and capacity fraud of 7-Eleven.
@Official-OpenAI8 ай бұрын

Hi Alyssa and Brandon. Watching from Canada and I would say my favourite snack at a convenience store was a warm Jamaican patty. When I was a very little kid growing up in Canada, specifically Toronto I can get a warm Jamaican patty at any convenience store. A Jamaican patty is a flaky pastry wrapped around meat filling. It was a great afterschool snack.
@HeresGoodTravel8 ай бұрын
Yes we’ve had these in New York! They are not very popular in Southern California apart from Jamaican restaurants. We still haven’t been to Toronto but we want to go to see the Blue Jays play, we’re huge baseball fans! We will be sure to grab a Meat Pie when we eventually visit!
@HeresGoodTravel8 ай бұрын
Wow, that’s amazing. We’ve tried those before in New York! Unfortunately, they’re not very popular in southern California where we live.
