I'm discovering these cooking episodes and Oh my my my what a treat!!!!! You are giving me so many ideas and I love it and it looks so good.!!! I probably shouldn't say this, but whenever I watch a cooking channel, I've learned to have something to snack on because your cooking episodes leave my mouth watering and wanting more!!! I don't meal prep every week. but when I do I make a KZbin video to share with everyone how awesome I am...I mean how awesome meal planning is and how much time and money it can save you!!!! Thank you, it is so nice to see Australian content with groceries that I can buy in Australia. It was nice to get some new ideas. I usually shop fortnightly for my family of 4. I shop at Aldi and Coles as I don’t like all the Aldi brands. I feel I save money splitting it up. Cheers

I've been making shepherds pie with a sweet potato topping for a very long time. It Trump's white potato for sure. I also squeeze in some mild American mustard to add some extra kick. Just can't eat it standing up. 😂 Makes me weak at the knees it's Soo good. Definately comfort food. 🤤🤤

This was a very interesting video watching an Australian version of cooking family meals. Sorry, I’m from SE Texas. You have given me a different idea for shepherds pie. Never thought about using sweet potatoes for the top. Capsicums are red peppers to us. Love your recipe for tuna salad bowl and the burrito bowl.

Thank you I really enjoyed both your videos so much I was inspired to go grocery shopping & meal prep the beef & pork mince meals. We had the cottage pie with sweet potato with veg, sauce. It was easy affordable & yummy. We are currently waiting for the muffins too cool down👌🏾 I hope you make more videos like this!

AHH! I'm enjoying all the meal prep/dinner ideas. What time do schools get out there? In the US it's really late in elementary - 4pm. My girls will have a snack and then not want dinner. I would love to see tips on lunches (for you or kiddos). What a special tea time that was! Thank you.

Loved this video Aniess! Thanks for sharing your meal planing and prep. It was a massive help for me to SEE someone planning and separating ingredients, then incorporating them into other dishes that way. I've alway read recipe books or magazine articles that say, oh you can use this for that or put this in that the next day, but I never was able to pull it off. I'd have been happy with all of those meals, and I bet nothing felt samey. Thanks for sharing!

I love how healthy your meals are! I’m from the UK so we have an Aldi! Little tip - Shepard’s pie is used from lamb mince. Cottage is beef mince that’s the only difference. X

It's something from the nail salon that they had in their shellac collection ...if I don't get Shellac, I usually use OPI though as their colour range is 👍thanks for watching

Have you tried an Instapot? They are so much better than a traditional crockpot. Most things you can get done in half or an hour, depending on what you’re cooking. It also doubles up as a rice cooker, which means you have one less appliance to store!

Great question! I have worked in Food Safety training for many years in the past and have HACCP training which is the food safety program developed by NASA to ensure food prepared for astronauts was made to the highest standards...no food poisoning gastro in space!!! If you buy produce with over a week shelf life, transport quickly and keep cold, cook thoroughly, chill quickly to 4c in the fridge (don't leave out on the bench for hours to cool a cooked dish down before refrigerating), reheat to over 70c and never reheat leftovers more than once you will be fine!

Wow! Serendipity. You mentioned Meal Prep in one of your organisation videos and I went on to your channel to search if you had any videos about that. You only had a few older videos (one for prepping fruit for smoothies and freezing it, which was kinda cool but not what I was in search of). One week goes by and BAM! Here's a meal prep video of yours! I REALLY want to get into it and dedicate a few hours a week to freezing things that I know I will use in many meals throughout the week, like certain veggies, meats, etc. I mean why do it every-single-day when I can get by with doing it once a week and freezing (hello, onions)? But I really need some structure and inspo, so your video came right in time

I LOVE it!!! It's my only frypan and my most used pan, in general, I use it in place of a saucepan all the time - look for it on sale and it's definitely worth the purchase 👍

Meal prepping is an almost impossible feat for me. The major obstacle is myself. I can't guarantee what my appetite would be interested in ahead of time. I've been known to change my mind about a meal that I should be eating within an hour or so in the middle of preparing it, and end up feeding my husband and not myself because I just don't want what I prepared. How do I keep myself motivated to eat a meal that entered my thoughts a whole week before? Plus, what @thesundaystylist prepares for the week is what my husband would eat in a day or two. I'd have to rent a restaurant to prep a week's set of meals to feed him alone. The struggle.

Maybe just prep all the ingredients like veggies so at least that part is done, then you can make them into whatever meal you feel like eating on the night!!! Haha I haven't had to worry about feeding a husband for over seven years so I can't help you there but boy my two kids sure can eat...no such thing as leftovers these days!!!

Ohh I can answer that 😊 it’s a shoe rack from Kmart, sadly they do not stock it however any longer, I know I tried to get one myself.
