I was in a very toxic and dysfunctional relationship for 7 years. We had 2 kids and the dysfunction carried over into co-parenting. She used the kids as pawns to try to manipulate and control things, and when she didn’t get what she wanted, she turned the kids against me. This made me upset to the point that I had thoughts of harming her. But 2 wrongs don’t make a right, and I’m thankful that God helped me to not go and do something stupid out of anger. If God doesn’t restrain our behavior with his word and the Holy Spirit, anybody is capable of anything

It's cool and ok when they keep our kids from us. If you don't pay child support, they will take your income tax, garnish your paychecks, and lock you up. On the other hand, if you're having custody and visitation issues, they tell you it's a civil matter and you need to get a lawyer to sue her. This system is crazy and if you're not strong enough, it'll break you. I don't condone the violence he committed, but I don't feel bad for her ethier.

@@mubarekindris3721 trust me when I say I completely understand. It got to the point that I had to let my 2 kids with my ex go and trust that God was going to guide them in their life. Kind of like how Moses mother did in the Bible when she released him down the river. An angel guided the basket and made sure that baby Moses ended up exactly where God wanted him to be. It was better for me to release my kids and trust God, than to continue to deal with a bitter woman who refused to follow the court order and my visitation rights, while I was current on my child support. Then turn around and tell everyone that I’m a deadbeat dad and talk bad about me to our kids. Dealing with a woman who operates on that level of evil, you just gotta cut your losses and move on before you end up in jail🤷🏾‍♂️

Terrible reporting. This story has been completely white washed. Jalen Easterling so-called "ex" was an ex boyfriend not husband. The current one was also a boyfriend. Media is cleaning this story up to make it sound like Jalen was not the typical hood with multiple unwed pregnancies, but that was the case. News anchors won't release the name or description of the shooter, but ask for help finding him. He's is not a juvenile so there is no reason to not release the name. There's no reason not to release the license plate number of the white Tahoe. But that would be racist. It would clearly show that this was yet another black 6yo birthday party in which the adults go rachet and things get violent.
