Friday: Tuscan Pane Pizza, Dinner: Jamie Oliver Chicken Curry over Basmati Rice
Saturday: Sandwiches, Chips, Juice & Grapes, Dinner: Burritos w/ fresh salsa
Sunday: Mom's Broccoli Chicken Casserole, Dinner: Nachos
Monday: Tuna Sandwiches, Dinner: Lentil Soup w/ baguette & Salad
Tuesday: Burritos w/ fresh salsa, Dinner: Costco Food (PIzza, Rotisserie Chicken & Caesar Salad)
See what it takes to feed our family of 13 for the week! We go shopping at Costco and Trader Joe's in Manhattan on Tuesday evening. We take Anna (11), Chloe (9), Enoch (7), Melody (5), Moses (2), and Neta (1 month).

something u might want to try is making iced tea using fruit teas with no caffeine- u just put 2-3 bags in a pitcher of water and steep it in the fridge.....

To some this might just be a grocery haul but the fact you and Marc appreciate, encourage, and respect all the individual personalities of your children shines through. I have one parent like that and one who refuses to acknowledge that I am a grown adult, let alone a person with my own thoughts and feelings. Your children will forever remember this as they get older, it already comes through with the now adult children when they’re on for even a few seconds.

I was one of the few of our large family of 16 to get to go with my Mama to the store. I always got to pick a treat eat on the way home. Shopping with my Mama taught me how to shop today. I plan my meals and shop accordingly. Not all my siblings picked up on that. Its nice to see all the little ones so happy to go shopping.

Cara-Cara oranges are delicious. You can make butter from heavy cream/heavy whipping cream. You need a high milkfat content minimum of 35%

Hello! One idea for semi-homemade cookies is making them from cake mixes. There are recipes online and it’s usually just adding eggs, oil or butter, and water (plus desired mix-ins). They turn out really well and are a very economical option if you get the cake mix on sale. I’ve always been a cookie from scratch mama, but these are a great option that is tried and true for me and the cookie eaters in my life!

I watched a video on here where if you put like 2 tbsp of the liquid from Greek yogurt (I believe it’s the whey but I could be wrong) and add it to homemade mayo and leave it out on a counter for 8 hours it ferments the mayo and it will keep like store bought mayo. Also, have you made “cream of whatever soup” with powdered milk, spices, arrowroot or cornstarch, chicken bouillon? Very cost effective way to sub for canned soup in recipes!

Amber , our Costco in Oklahoma sell a huge bag of Power Greens in the cold storage room that are great in smoothies and soups and can even be steamed and frozen. Very nutritious and cheap ❤

Hi, have you tried making the porcupine ball recipe I sent it is really simple? You just make balls out of hamburger and cooked rice best with onions, soup mix and whatever spices you want put in a casserole dish and cover with a cream soup and water or tomatoes and tomato juice until hamburger is done enjoy. I bake at 375 Fahrenheit.

What were you saying about the Pennsylvania sit and not being too far? Something about Josiah but I couldn’t make it out. Lots of Amish, and a very wonderful place to visit! You should plan a trip this summer or sometimes in the future. I can’t use fragrances anything! I usually just stick with Dawn original formula if I can’t find anything. I love unscented everything!
