Saturday: BLT Sandwiches & Chips + Juice & Chips, Dinner: Bean Burritos

My daughter is carrying a baby boy due early Dec. She was in a bad car accident a month ago, a young man went through a red light and T boned her. She was so so lucky to virtually walk away with only bruising and soreness below. Baby was unharmed. Angeks surely were around her.

Amber and Marc,Just a hint for pot pies is to bake the pie crusts for a few minutes before adding your moist ingredients this makes the crust more firm and "crusty"

I saw someone go to Costco and ask the butcher for 10lbs of ground beef, it came out to $4. And change a pound! I’m going to try it. That saves a lot of money and it’s no big deal to break it down before freezing. Gotta share the good deals 😊

One trick I use to stretch potpie is to add some white beans or chickpeas. That allows me to use less meat and still get protein in. I know you are always trying to save money

I make chicken pot pie all the time 😁 it's so delicious. I love these videos. I appreciate that not everything is organic. We do what we can but try not to stress out about organic vs non organic too much. It's too expensive! I sometimes wonder if it hasn't become more of a marketing plot these days. Idk!

If you want a suggestion, google “Jenny can cook chicken pot pie” with olive oil crust!!! It’s divine and super easy. There are so many easy recipes that she made years back including her pan pizza recipe you may consider . All easy and outstanding!!

If you make mashed potatoes, netta can easily eat that with you! Maybe even mixed with the applesauce. (Sounds strange maybe, but for me it was the only way i could eat cooked potatoes when i was little, i didnt like them, still dont. For my daughter it is the only way she eats her mashed potatoes or stampot, that is a dutch dish with mashed potatos and cooked kale.) I mix it and then she likes it, plus it takes the heat off the food which is a problem for my autistic girl.

My feeling is that everyone loves these what we eat in a week videos. I’m one of 16 children and (NO, WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT THE DUGGARS) Most people feel free to ask the most intrusive questions about coming from a large family. One being how your parents fed you, what it was like to shop for a family that size. Your family eats very well (as did mine) and I like the fact that you show normalcy in the family unit. ❤

I didn’t give my kids soda till they asked for it when they were older. It just wasn’t an option. Try your kombucha instead. It’s sad to see Moe drinking a can of soda. American youth are the most unhealthy in the world. Sugar is in all our food. We need to choose better. 🇨🇦

I have to agree with you on the not drinking soda. My daughter was 9 when she first tried it and she doesn't like it. But even if she did it would be only a once in a while and certainly not every week. But other family other rules and I guess this is what works for them it would not be my choice
