Have you every used frozen veggies instead of canned? Reason being so much is lost in canning process by heating veggies. Frozen is better nutritionally. I know opening a can is easier when portioning. But, you can use a scoop to portion the frozen. Idk just idea. Never liked canned veggies myself except for tomatoes and beans. Plus cans are so heavy carrying compared to frozen.

I don’t know if your family would like this but, I made a loaded potato the other night and it was a hit .I cooked baking potatoes and added bacon, cheese, sour cream and chives and salad .( you could add chili or lots of other things ) The shirts are so cute .

you can shop at Aldi or lidl if you only buy store brand items and everything is much cheaper there. bread is 50 cents a loaf, eggs are 1.09 a dozen, milk i $2.80 a GALLON. Produce is beautiful and delicious also. you should try it there
