You have bad information here. 1) He was an airman (Air Force) not a soldier (Army). 2) The deputy (not police) didn't break down his door. 3) The deputy knocked three times, the latter two stating "sheriff's office." 4) The peep hole was not covered. 5) Don't trust the media; rely on more responsible sources. 6) Do a KZbin search for *"BODYCAM: Shows 23YO Airman Killed Over Nothing | BAD SHOOT"* by _The Civil Rights Lawyer_ and you can watch the full video up to the shooting. Having stated that, the woman who told the deputy the apartment # apparently had it wrong, and the deputy fired his shots while the airman had his gun pointed at the floor, which is a _legal way_ to answer your door.

There is no correlation between police mistakes and personal feelings of compassion. Careful when you go trying to make someone look bad or feel some sense of guilt because it wasn't my family member. How do you know what my family members have died from? Nor is it relevant to the fact that police officers get addresses incorrect on warrants being more common than you might realize. I'm a litigation paralegal. I see a lot of warrants; applications for warrants, etc. Now that you've shown sufficient outrage at my presumed lack of emotions, can you please go read that part of your Bible where it tells you not to judge other people? Perhaps some reflection with the good book and one's attempt to shame someone in front of others, judging others when that's not your place, being presumptuous in thought or deed, would be good place to start.
