I have a dehumidifier in my mobile home
@Robbie-mw5uuАй бұрын
dehumidifiers doesnt eliminate mold it is just a bandaid once mold fungus grows and embeds its roots in your walls it is always an issue so you need to bleach everything
@prima808Ай бұрын
Bleach isn't the right cleaner to use. Bleach is water based. The bleach will evaporate first, leaving the water to reactivate any mold not killed off. Best natural based solution for cleaning is vinegar. There's also chemicals you can buy at hardware stores, but dont use bleach. Many sites online offering vinegar solution proportions.

@@prima808thank you. We just bought a home full of mold inside beneath and around and of course I used bleach water to deep clean and power wash. Now I’ll do it again with vinegar. The materials we’re building with are different.
@pattiannepascualАй бұрын
@@A__Minawater and humidity are the problem,not as much the materials,which may have no issues at all if not exposed to moisture,leaks or flood. But houses are being built more airtight these days, causing big problems if water gets involved. Very old houses as well as new ones get mold if there's water damage
@aldomoreno3244Ай бұрын
The issue is that they are building homes so airtight now and moisture gets stuck in between the walls with no way to ventilate. Since they build them so air tight the city of Houston requires fresh air intake to help circulate fresh air into the home but in Houston the humidity is 100% so your bringing that 100% humidity air at almost 100° into the return of the hvac system which isnt the root cause of the issue but doesnt help it at all. The way the homes are built is the issue but the builders are just following City of Houston requirements.

Never seen any domicile that DOESN'T have some mold. I'm in property management. House basements easily have mold. Every shower or bath we've ever reno'ed (whether in a building or house) has had some degree of mold behind the tile walls & floors. Crawl spaces, attics, drop ceilings, garages...anywhere where moisture affects is susceptible to mold. Heck, there's mold in the air outside. If anyone thinks the can live in an environment devoid of mold, then they need to live in a plastic bubble.

Also all the cross contamination of other people who live in mold and going to stores and restaurants and all the mold spores spread and if the environment is right, it will grow and proliferate. If you unknowingly buy something from someone who has mold in their home, and then bring it into your home, it can grow. Mold spores are microscopic. You can’t always see mold.
