I agree with you on this game. I wish I did not buy this game earlier this year. I hate the fact when you play a minigame and get into a tie with your opponent. Then you have to figure who would play the gamepad minigame, since there is no tie-breakers. This can cause a lot of fight between the kids. Good review as us Wiiviewer!

The exact same way they did on the Wii, Nintendo doesn't really have good 3rd party control on games. The problem is that they often allow such subpar 3rd party games to flood the market that just want to cash-in on the market audience (aren't savvy/impulse buying). This often causes trouble with the shovelware dilemma where the few good 3rd party games are often left to drown in a sea of sub-par games. Also the fact Nintendo may want the Wii U library to look bigger at the expense of quality.

Given the number of games on the original Wii and how long the Wii u was out, there is no excuse for the lack of party games for the Wii U, let alone GOOD ones. They could have done so much more with the gamepad, if they couldn't get 3rd party support then they should have focused on making this console the best couch console they could, total fail

Same way all those Data Design Interactive games got on the Wii. Every time Nintendo introduces a new controller, they will literally let ANYTHING onto their console just as long as the developer pledges to use the new controller somehow. That's how this turd got "through" Nintendo: by making sure the game used the game pad.

I think this game was gonna be released for the Wii, but since the Wii U was released back in 2012, they decided to release this game for Wii U instead. And it is a shame they make a Wii game with really graphics that look terrible... Keep in mind that games for Wii from the same year like Mario Party 9 or even older games like Mario Galaxy from 2007 looks a lot better than this... This doesn't even look like a Wii, this rather looks like a bad N64 game at the very least.

Because they're desperate to prove that this game pad isn't just another stupid gimmick. They can't just settle for a new gizmo that is good for certain kinds of games -- they want to prove it's good for ALL games! And most of the developers are looking at the game pad going "The hell is this crap?" It took them five years to finally get used to the idea of a motion control remote, and now Nintendo's waving around another new mandatory controller in their faces again.

Ugh what a mess. It sucks that this great console is going to likely struggle through this generation because of crap like this. If WiiU fans like myself are lucky it'll end up winning out because people won't wanna invest their shit on the console they think is dying so there will be less crap like this than there was at the end of the Wii's life.
