I'm from Colorado and have seen these and others like them frequently. What's always made me think "What was so bad as to why some people felt the need to do this. With some ruins I get the whole out of the wind or other natives. To build on basically a vertical slope? What scared entire populations to do this? No one has a definite reason.

I was homeless, I had nothing to offer, always sleeping on the street, until Jesus sent me a friend who helped me... I got a job & was managing till I melt a friend who helped me introduce me to Mrs Kate Elizabeth Becherer She changed my life and now I have a home, a wife, a lovely daughter and a new identity... The Cattle look good and healthy. I watched an old video the other day of you guys rescuing a Red Roan Horse from a Cattle Guard during the middle of the night. Did the Horse heal up well? Is he still able to be ridden? How big is the Round Pen? Hit the Like Thumbs Up Button. That is a Beautiful Canyon. You guys find a lot of Ancient Ruins.

Hi Ty, unfortunately that horse did not heal up and we lost him. He belonged to Quinn. It was a very tough loss.

Cows are so funny. That bunch😂, were done, right😂. Beautiful history in those canyon walls❤. You have to wonder what drove them to hide in these places. And your weather there, wow, the changes are incredible for a desert high up...

Make sure you’re fascination with those Anasazi ruins. Without the zoom lines, you’d have to be very keen eyed to spot them amongst the natural coloration of the rock layers. Thanks for taking us along. You’re rearing up two young Cowboys, who will never remember a time when they didn’t do this. What a gift to them!

Love true cowboys. It reminds me of my grandfather (he passed back in 2014) He was a real cowboy in his day. I don't think he ever was in a rodeo but him and a great uncle introduced me to the ranching/cattleman lifestyle. God bless you and your family.

Great video Shawn . A UTube podcast called Desert Drifter contact him to investigate the Ancient Dwellings. He leaves nothing but footprints. Very self conscious of the historical context of these sites. Have a blessed week and Merry Christmas to the 1880 Crew members

That is the same conclusion I have come to. Things must have been really bad for them to build their houses in the cliffs.

Simply amazing where certain people/tribes made their homes. One can only wonder how and why? I know there are antelopes or some such creatures like that but no one can just live off that. I do love seeing the scenery. Thanks much.

As always, a great show. Those ruins really intrigue me. I have to wonder the same thing. How would they have built there. I suppose they did it for safety from attacks. Really interesting for sure. Thx for the video, my friend.

Hi Ronald, we do on the upper winter country. We are always watching the weather to make sure we stay ahead of those bigger storms. On the lower winter country we get a few inches every year, but nothing to serious.
