Southern style buscuits and gravy was born out of necessity. A way for poor homes to have an affordable meal that was tasty and filling. It's a comfort food that is still satisfying to this day. The outside can have a texture like a scone and the inside is like a dinner roll. Kent has so many good videos.

I like Kent he does make some great old fashion recipes but he also makes some great stuff that you can make with just a fire and some spices and simple ingredients and from what I have seen he is just a really nice person, and he loves them dogs lol.

Buttermilk is just another American term for whey. So if you don't have any and you want to use it, you can make some butter and the leftover juice is the buttermilk.

With baking it’s better to use the proper measurements. When I cook I do it by eye and taste but when baking I follow the recipe 😅
