Thank you for this info. I’m keeping faith even though it I’m hurting. My sons father died almost three years ago. It’s so lonely. I have no family nor friends. Since losing my job for declining the vaccine I’ve been struggling it hasn’t been easy especially as a single mother with two autistic sons. So scary worrying about facing homelessness especially durning this time. I’m still waiting on assistance from the state. But this experience has gotten me so much closer to God! I declined the vaccine because I have lupus and because of my heart attack I now stents in my heart. Things have been so difficult for me and my boys. I am so ashamed of my situation, but I have faith that God will provide. He will make away even though I do not see a way. I just must keep Faith in God . Just for additional information: There are some countries that don't have an agreement according to the Haager Apostille (e.g. Philippines), in this case their residents need to provide additional documents and may have the German embassy do what's called a "Urkundenüberprüfung". This is necessary because Germany might acknowledge the marriage certificate, but not the birth certificate of the foreigner. Therefore, it may take another 6 months and lots of preparation until this hurdle is taken. Luckily, for Indian residents this does not apply since they can get an Apostille.

@@alanna2 Hi, they would need to apply for a short term visit Visa (Schengen Visa), not a family reunion visa. Family reunion is only applicable if you want to stay with for family in Germany long time.

One quick question that I have is about the Proof Of Financial Stability - is this something that is required for me to be eligible for a Spouse Visa? Also, how can this be shown for someone who runs a business online (i.e., me) and for my spouse in Germany, who is planning to leave her job and stay with me in India (on a tourist visa) till I have the family reunion and we move to Germany together.
