Please take only the document mentioned only in the checklist..they never asked anything beyond checklist ...they never asked for travel insurance in advance and flight itinerary..as visa get approval and while submitting your passport for stamping ..they will asked you for travel insurance..please don't go with these vedio .they only make u scared and nervous...please guys only follow the embassy site.. documents are very simple and easy in making..no need to worry and get trouble.. interviewer in Delhi are very kind and gentle in the embassy..so be confident speak nicely...I watched thousand of India youtuber before applying..they are all trouble maker..got nothing help.

Hi Saril, Language test is optional for family reunion visa. In my case, I presented my 1st level language certificate but that was not needed. Language requirements are significant for employment visa

@@shrutichikode8059 thanks for your response. However I was going through the checklist it says A1 in the list of documents, and I was also checking with few local agents they said the same. You probably come under the exceptional list eg (if your spouse is a Blue cardholder, you don't need a language certificate).

@@sarilmamballi yes that might be possible because my spouse is a blue card holder. If you are learning the language but haven't completed your level then you can get provisional certificate from institute(on their letterhead) which will state that you are currently pursuing the course and tentative date of exam too. Yes, the procss is same, however in case of student you need to show the blocked account as students do't have much salary.

Hi Deepa, Usually they do not ask the reason of court marriage but if they did then you can state them your actual reason if its genuine. In my case, due to heath issues in my family, we skipped hindu marriage act(one with vidhis) and went ahead for special marriage act (court marriage)

Yes, you can do that but then after 6 months, your wife will have to apply for family reunion visa which is expensive + takes longer time.

Only marriage certificate requires apostile. I got it done from a lawyer I found online. Just google, you should be able to find lawyer locally.

1. They might ask him some basic questions but I don’t think this will be an issue for spouse visa as it’s not a mandate requirement (I’m assuming he applied for spouse visa) 2. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on this as I have not come across this case as of now.

Quick but Important Question on below scenario: Immigrant parents have Indian passports, newly relocated to Germany and working in Tech (one of whom is BlueCard holder). Their child is conceived and born in Germany after few months. Question - Will the child automatically acquire German Citizenship by birth? If not, then what additional benefit this child will get in contract to other immigrant kids who were born out of Germany (or EU)?
