I love your furniture.I would use a light colored drape and let the furniture be the focal point. I love the green color , but I am not sure it is going to go well with your furniture,however once it is all finished it will probably all be beautiful together. I look forward to seeing it.😊

The sofas and rug are beautiful! Excited to see what’s next! Consider using some sheer curtains on the windows as not to cover up your window trim..maybe a yellow and brown color together..For instance..brown on the outside and yellow inside then pull them both to either side to expose the green window trim color in the middle. The sofas and ottoman are such high quality and perfect for the English Country look that you’re going for. Definitely add curtains to soften the look but hang them high as you stated and have the panels go just outside the window frames so the gorgeousness can be seen. Love that green color it’s so 1930s. Blinds would look great and still let you see the beautiful wood work. Maybe bamboo blinds to see if you like the look. I think they are less expensive too and come in a variety of shades. Plus easy to install. Buy one and hang it and live with it a few days to see if that’s what you want. The sofas are so cute and comfy looking. I know you are going to make this room fab.

I would leave the trim on the ceiling white. You have such a great personality and this room will turn out great. Horizontal is like shaking your head back and forth for no. Vertical is up and down like shaking your head yes. I'm looking forward to seeing how your room turns out.

@@Tootsie55 it sounds too simple, but my youngest son who is now in his 20s had learning challenges, so I had to find ways to get him to understand stuff. So, this is an easy way to remember horizontal and vertical. I just wanted to help her. I like Kim's videos.

Looks amazing so far. I think the tile would look great with a painted design. Maybe using a stencil of flowers or something you like to create color to the tile. You are so good at decorating that it is really going to turn out great when you are finished. Yes on the roman shades and yes you do need to see the framing on the windows.

I love the green! Leave ceiling white. What about a dark mustard on the fireplace. Would be a great neutral and add warmth. I love the rattan or bamboo Roman shades.

I love the green trim and agree with the ceiling trim going back to white! I can't wait to see the finished room! (You asked for suggestions and you probably noticed yourself and just haven't gotten to it...I noticed the arm of the couch near the drop leaf table has an area on the end that needs cleaned. I know it can't be removed like the cover on your cushions though. I dont know how to tell you to go about cleaning it either. I guess whatever you'll use on the ottoman would work. I'm not trying to be picky!)

My first thought on the windows was Roman Shades. That’s always my go to. But I also think using a spring rod inside the window frames with a curtain would give the room a very elegant look. Altogether it’s looking very nice.

The trim at the top looks better white. I would paint the fire place a darker shade of tan. I think it’s gonna be adorable. I would use blinds or shade. Pillows I would use off white with texture.

Leave the ceiling white and ceiling trim white . Sorry you are painting again. Leave the fire place white too. Good job with that decision. Paint inside of fireplace black. Very good job..

Not sure I would paint the fireplace green too, it may look phony and too much. I don't like TVs above fireplaces. I don't like the look so I put mine on a table in the corner at eye level so it's not that noticeable so I can put a lovely painting above the fireplace. White cotton balloon shades.
